my mom just told me yesterday that she finally took my advise from what i told her a month ago about leaving my father. i love my father but i dont appreciate what he did to me and my family. and because of what he did is why my lil sis and i are in the system.

The exemption permits for shows, dogs, police,dogs guide dogs ect ALL expire January 1, 2009 ! At which point, ALL dogs/ cats in CA must be spayed/neutered to be leagal.

I'm having most preg symptoms including nausea, breasts tenderness, tired a lot and pelvic pain.
I took the test about 7 or 13 days after the encounter. hCg level less than 2. Lately , I've been feeling a lot of fluttering and thumpings in my stomach. Like hard movement. It's been 7-9 weeks after and it's still happening.
I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE SEX. I DRY HUMPED WITH CLOTHES ON. He had pants and boxers while I have thin pajamas. I'm really scared!
THEN... today, my boyfriend got me a new brand of test, accu clear and I thought it was the same as first response but I wasn't sure. So... when I read the paper, it says that in 1 minute, the positive line will show even if it's still dark. And I saw it as the liquid goes along. but it wasn't clear enough in 1 minute. Then the paper said that in 3 minutes, it's really empty like clear white. What does it mean? Please clear it out for me!
I have seen 2 docs and they said there's no way can I get pregnant lke that but how can u exp. symp

Ok- I'm a novice cook. I can make a few basic things- I can scramble eggs, fry bacon, make spaghetti- pretty much if only 1 step is involved or I can read directions from a box or book- I do ok. There are certaint dishes that I know are simple that I haven't tried- rice, fried chicken and fish, biscuits, stuff like that- and I'm clueless about more complex recipies. My question is this: Can someone reccommend a good cook book that will teach me the basics and throw in some easy yet impressive recipies if I had company coming over??

I was born in Panama and raised in Panama...My mother is American (Southern bell from TN) and my Dad Panamanian, I was registered at the U.S. embassy in Panama. So I have always had dual citizenship. Am I an Immigrant? I always wonder, cause when they ask me my race, I get confuse...I am Panamanian and I am also American. I speak both languages and all my life grew up with both cultures (thanksgiving, halloween, 4th of July, etc...)..I am proud of both cultures..What am I?

My cat has 3 kittens that are 4 weeks old. Before having them she always did her no 2's outside. But now, even though she goes outside she always does her no 2's in the litter box and makes a right mess with it, IT IS FOUL! The smell makes me heave and it lingers all through the flat, Im changing her litter box 3 times a day spending a fortune on airfreshner, shake 'n' vac and plug ins! It is embarrasing when people come round because all you can smell is cat sh*t! Other than that she is spotlessly clean.

Anyone else had this problem and what did you do about it?

My son is tormented daily by the kids in his school. They throw stuff at him, hit him, steal from him, call him names, you got it. Evey day he comes home from school either madder than hell or trying not to cry. I have brought this up several times to the principal, the vice principal and the counselor. They do nothing. However, my son may flunk because some days I let him stay home because it just kills my heart to send him somewhere I know he will be tortured. Anyone have any suggestions? I am desperate. There are only about 3 weeks of school left. I have considered just pulling him out of school (you can do that in Texas), but what kind of repercussions would he face? I honestly dont know what to do, but I just finished shaving his head since they threw gum in it yesterday and I am madder than hell.

When my husband's 4 yo daughter comes to visit (about once a month for 3-5 days, will be much longer this summer), the house ends up looking like a tornado hit. We have just been letting it go for a few days during her visit and cleaning everything after she leaves. What age is appropriate to make the kids start cleaning up their own toys? I'm starting to get a little concerned that if we continue to do this for her too long, that it will be too hard to change later on & lead to her taking advantage on other things as she gets older. Also, I don't want to live in a warzone of a house for a month this summer. I know kids are messy, etc but when/how do we teach them to start doing these sorts of things for themselves? I have no kids of my own & I'm still trying to find my place in all this (I'm sure other step parents will understand...) Other than DH's kids, I haven't been around kids much so I'm still very unsure of what I'm doing or should be doing

Goldfish sits on the bottom of the tank?
I have 2 beautiful goldfish that are 5 years old. One is lying on the bottom of the tank the other sitting on the bottom. Niether is eating. They seem to have a gray skin like substance pealing off them. Sometimes they are over an inch long. If you move the fish with the net, the skin like substance just floats away. I've tried ich medication, but it just seemed to make more of the skin like stuff float off them. They seem to be breathing very rapidly. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks Eileen
