My son is tormented daily by the kids in his school. They throw stuff at him, hit him, steal from him, call him names, you got it. Evey day he comes home from school either madder than hell or trying not to cry. I have brought this up several times to the principal, the vice principal and the counselor. They do nothing. However, my son may flunk because some days I let him stay home because it just kills my heart to send him somewhere I know he will be tortured. Anyone have any suggestions? I am desperate. There are only about 3 weeks of school left. I have considered just pulling him out of school (you can do that in Texas), but what kind of repercussions would he face? I honestly dont know what to do, but I just finished shaving his head since they threw gum in it yesterday and I am madder than hell.

I would go to the School Board, and if that didn't work, I'd call an attorney, and or call the local newspapers. This is a big issue right now, due to the recent school shootings. Schools should be taking this stuff seriously. The press would love to get a hold of the fact that there is a school that is ignoring a situation like this, and the school will be pissed off that you called the news station. I'd do it in a heartbeat, to protect my child.

Call a meeting with the teacher, principal,vp, and the parent of the main one in his class that is bullying him,and if not resolved ASAP tell all who's present u will be seeking legal action, go to the school board and complain(they will follow up)and do make police report and prosecute, believe me I went thru this and I did prosecute the child and parent and make sure u keep police reports and important dates of what's happening to him and notes of what happened&outcome of meeting to court. Since I did this like everyone disappeared and it's like it never happened cause once I made an example out of one the rest fell back and it's been 3 years and haven't heard a peep and things are back to normal!!!I don't care if it's 3 min left in school call the police if u have to from the school to come up to the school and make a report up there!
Good Luck! May seems like alot&tiring but it's not, u will get your strength by remembering the look on your child face everytime he comes home!

My brother and sister have that same problem and they live in Corpus Christi so I understand. My siblings were getting picked on in school and on the way home my suggestion is that if your son walks home and gets picked on then call the cops. You can file a report and everything. Also try getting the campus cop to file a report or some charges against these kids. If your son's school doesn't have a campus cop then go to the school board and start complaining there. Nothing gets peoples attention faster than threatening their jobs! That's all i can say for now and maybe next year you can home school him if you have the means to.

First, you want your son to document the actual physical contact that is being imposed on him dates and names.
Then once you have a detailed log. Go to the principal once again. If they neglect to take action. Take the log to the school board. If that fails. Take it to an attorney.
Keep in mind that you also want to document your efforts.
I work for lawyers and we have been successful in helping parents prosecute these bad kids in court. Once the situation gets that serious it is interesting how people begin to listen.
May God bless you and your son. I wouldn't suggest running from the prob. as the tormenters will only find another poor kid to torture and this should not continue.
I am sure your son's school has counselors they can advise you as to the chain of command for your particular district.

maybe you can try to find out who the children' s parents are and talk to them. If this doesn't work go down to your local police station and file harassment charges. Go to the board of education and talk to some of the higher ups and let them know what is going on. Write letters to the Principal and have them mailed with a return receipt since no one is responding to your cries for help. Bullying can turn ugly (or even deadly). I am not saying that your son will harm any one but this type of thing has caused children to harm themselves and others before. Be sure to sit your son down and let him know that you are going to do everything in your power to help him.

I'm sorry to hear your situation. You need to show up at the school (on a daily basis if necessary) to talk with teachers, principals, etc. They are more inclined to doing something if you meet face to face. If nothing else works, contact the other parents. I know if my kid was doing the bullying, they would be punished at home as well. If nothing else works, contact the superintendent's office...they might be able to get the principal to do his/her job. Good Luck!

Either threaten the principal that you are going to take some leagal action on the school for refusing to help or transfer him to another school. You should take your problem to the person who is in charge of the district, what is it head of the board or something. But dont consider removing him from school, he needs an education. As for your son, sighn him up for some self-defense classes. There is Karate and Kickboxing, but teach him that it is only for self-defense.

how old is your son??? the older the harder it is....trust me....
I suggest you either go to the school board and if they don't do anything go to a media outlet like a nearby paper or news channel, be anonymous
if your relationship with the teacher is good tell him/her that you are taking a early vacation and would like to get the work he will miss
if not you may have to consider home schooling
also try to get him to find something that could be a release, maybe sign him up in karate or something like that
i would really like to see politicians make a stand against bullying, its this kind of stuff that can ruin a someones life early on in their life

DEMAND to the principal that he handle the problem...... if he still does nothing sit in ur sons classes (but dont let the other kids know who u r) and whenever u see bullying take down the names of the kids..... then talk to their parents........ and see if u can sue the school for not handling the issue and if u can threaten to.......

I'm so sorry for your son and for you, that is horrible.
If the principal isn't taking any action, I'm thinking that going to the superintendent is the next step.
If worse comes to worse, I'd take him out of school now and next year, if you can, send him to another school.
I wish you all the best.
