Paris Hilton getting a jail sentence. This might be proof of divine justice, or at least Karma. What do think?

Hmm.. you have a good point. However, if God really existed, she would have gotten the death penalty.

My Atheism is safe. I will need more than a 10% justice before I am willing to buy into this God thing again.

A needle for a couple of celebrity murderers would be a start. And I don't even want to talk about Professional Athletes.

How people can worship, endorse and pay some of these folks is beyond me.

Well if you think about it, she's only been getting slaps on the wrist for years for drunk driving. Being a celebrity she's been let off the hook and given minimum punishments for some time.

It's not karma or divine influence that she's finally in jail, it's about damned time!

~~~basket,,,,, In all seriousness,,,FYI : "Karma IS Divine Justice" ,,, and little Paris is a textbook example,,,, not by this single event, but rather by her Socio-Economic Standing and her Lifestyle as A Whole,,,, and just like religion, she attracts those who perceive her as a Role Model or Something to Aspire To, when in actuality she is the Antithesis of a Role Model and should serve as An Example of how Fame & Fortune produces it's own Karmic Debts,,,,,(Yeah,,, me too,,,, I'd still like to have her dough,,,, Maybe in the next life.)
I'm having a similar experience, as the Brewers seem to be winning almost all of their games. Could it be divine intervention? Or did we sell our souls?
Just because you're not a Paris-ite doesn't mean you're God-inclined. But it is a step in the right direction.
What goes around, comes around is an observation listed as religious reward/punishment by different deities.
Observation does not make spiritual existence real or not.
well i believe in karma and that's nothing to do with any divine being....of course what goes around comes around.....that's taught in Buddhism-that's atheistic- as well.....please don't think i'm trying to influence your a/theism(either way)...all i'm saying is ,belief in a deity is not required to believe in karma
If it's proof of anything it would be cause and effect. Nothing divine or spiritual about it.
Seems to me to be just plain legal justice. No reason to suppose that god had anything to do with it.
I'm with you on that one.
My favorite part was when she came out and said "I'm being treated unfairly," "I don't deserve this," blah blah. Does any person on the face of the planet actually feel sorry for her?
