My husband has become addicted to a new writing website. Everyday he is on it for hours at a time. It's one of the first things he does when he gets home from work. It's the last thing he does before bed, and it's the first thing he does in the morning. I understand he needs something to help wind down after a long day, but does he have to be on it for more hours than he spends with his family? I've talked to him about it many times, and he'll try to do better, but that doesn't last long. I need help. I've become jealous of this website.

I feel like such an ****** for doing that, but I know that I don't want to buy their product or service, and talking with them just to be polite is just wasting their time. They don't stop talking either, and I usually have to interrupt them mid-sentence, which makes me feel terrible. Their job must be so frustrating, but I really can't help it, and if they'd just pause between sentences and give me some time to say "No thank you", then there wouldn't be a problem, but they can tell when you want to hang up and start talking even faster. I usually give them a sentence or two (just to make sure that it isn't a call that I need to deal with), but after that, I just say "Feel free to mail me some information. Thanks.", and then hang up. How do you feel in situations like this?

I am looking for some thick drapes that I can put over my 1 1/2 year olds windows. When the sun rises it shines right through her window waking her up early and it is still light out when she goes to bed making it hard for her to sleep. I am looking for a good thick drape but also cute. Colors having to do with light pink, light purple, or light green. Thank you

I have some teenagers who cuss while playing basketball in my apartment complex. I've already kicked them out of the court early before it was locked down for the night, and last night, I locked it for the whole day. They know the reason was because of their profanity.
I also believe in positive reinforcement. I told them last night that when the cussing stops, I'll throw them a pizza party as a reward. They really liked it.
My question is, do I reward the ones who stop swearing and not the ones who may continue, OR do I wait until the group as a whole stops cussing and reward all of them; as in use peer pressure?
Which would you choose? I welcome suggestions as well that you may have. Thank you in advance.

Nancy Pelosi goes to Syria to, OH MY GOD, have DIALOG with a country that has influence in Iraq. That dialog could possibly help settle down Iraq. It certainly couldn't hurt. She is labeled as the "strongest ally" of the terrorists, and guess what? Condoleezza Rice is in Syria today! So apparently the Bush administration is also the terrorists strongest ally as well. What a pack of hypocrites the White House is. Why is it ok for Rice to go but not Pelosi!? I really, really don't get it. The Democrats are "the party of cut and run" apparently. Well the Republicans are the party of "lets ignore the world and especially the terrorists and then we'll see if the terrorists want to stop killing us." I don't see why leaving Iraq is worse than ignoring people directly involved with Iraq that are killing our men. What do you think? Am I right or am I right about the hypocritical thing at least? I know there are going to be so crazy far-right conservatives who'll lash out at me on the Iraq thing

My TV has a little problem. Channels 8-53 are blurry. Its not the cable or connection, i have tried multiple cords from multiple outlets. When i plug a device (like a dvd player) in the input and turn the device on, most of the blurry channels turn watchable again. Dvd's and video games appear a little grainy, but otherwise ok. Would a pawn shop buy this TV? I would take anywhere from $12 up for it. Should i try to sell it as if there was nothing wrong or explain whats up with it?

I know you can't join the marines with asthma. I'm training with a recruiter i know and a friend in the marines to strengthen my lungs and try to get rid of it. I've had an asthma attack within the last year but it's not bad. If I work extremely hard and have a doctor prove my asthma is almost 100% better would they let me join?
