Starship Troopers ?

I plan to research , develop and finance an intergalactic starship on the internet - is this possible given that all the best brains, enterpreneurs, draftsmen, engineers and management groups will all have access to the same information and each contribution will move the project forward by decades. Imagine what you can do with a million man hours and 100 million contributors !! Whats your opinion?

Gay marriage between 2 men in 2 different countries?

if my boyfriend is french and lives and works in france, can we get married still even if we live in 2 different countries (I live in London and he lives in France) at the moment? or do we have to be living together either here in london or in france before we can do that?i know the french have their own version of a gay marriage that is more of a union of sorts, but can that happen if i am still working in london and he is back in france?

Isn't it a terrible how they mocked and scorned, ridiculed and even spat on Jesus?

As he was led to be crucified?
How could such hard hearted men not understand that THIS was God come down to man.
"Even as He hung in torment and terrible suffering, they mocked, him and spat on Him. Most hated him vehemently."
"...falsely accused and condemned, beaten, scourged, mocked and humiliated."
"They mocked and reviled Jesus, spit in His face, then blindfolded Him and beat Him asking Him to prophesy who had hit Him (Mark 14:65; Luke 22:63-65)."
Do people STILL commit these same despicable acts today?
I see questions like this all the time from people that seem to hate Him:

Have you experienced this in early pregnancy?

Sometimes after using the bathroom I'll notice clear tissue in the toilet. No blood or even tinted just sort of an off white color. I'm not sure if I’m passing it through my vagina. But I’m pretty certain it's not the toilet paper. It's always very small in size. Some what like the size of your pinky nail even a little smaller. No odor or cramping associated. I'm in my 7th week and never noticed this with my first. What could this be...and have you also experienced this?

New Dark Brown leather couch SMELLS?! HELP!?

How can I get the smell out of my new dark brown leather couch? It stinks up my whole room. I don't think it is cheap leather. I have tried baking soda in the room, but the smell is too over-powering. I saw one site said to use mink oil and another said do not use oil. I saw one site said use Febreeze and another site said do not? Does anyone know of something to use (the more natural the better)?

Hotels in Syntagma Square?

My boyfriend and I are looking for hotels in Syntagma square. We only need a hotel for about 5 hours until we catch a flight. We were told that it's easy to go from there to the airport for an early AM flight so that's why we want to stay there.

Can anyone suggest a clean & safe budget hotel near there? We are looking to spend about $60.00-$80.00 USD to a maximum of $100 USD.

Tax implications on tapping on my 401K?

Hello. I have been unemployed for 5+ months now and I am in dire need to tap on my 401K now. I know I will get penalized and what not, but I wanted to see what the general community has to say about this?

1. Aside from the bank's fee and your regular taxes, are there any other deductions to consider?
2. Can I claim financial hardship for my 2007 taxes and kind of get away with the penalties?
3. If I need to pay those taxes back (which is most likely the case), can I arrange for a payment plan?

Did you know that hell is not the lake of fire?

In Revelation 20 it says that hell and hades give up their dead and are thrown into the lake of fire-- which means hell is not the eternal punishment, the lake of fire is. This is also known as "Gahenna" in the hebrew context.
I just thought it is interesting to know this, because I know we all say unbelievers go to hell, but it is really called the lake of fire, where hell is thrown into too-- and it is described as eternal punishment in Revelation 20:14- 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

-So it is the second death that is eternal- and is forever- but it is not a state of unconsciousness, for it says:
Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
-And then it continues to say at the end of the chapter that whoever is not a believer is also cast there.

Is it better to claim 1 or 0 ?

I am 23, single, no kids & I support myself , Ive always claimed 0 on my W-4 forms but recently I changed it to 1 and claimed head of household because my 19 year old niece live with me & I pay more than 50% to sustain my household. I would rather get more money every paycheck then a big return(even though its nice) but my financial situation leads me to need more money every month rather than once a year. Either get a little back or just break even but I definantly do not want to owe anything.......did I make a good move? what do you guys think?

Im afraid my 6 week old has diareaha? BUT dr. office is closed for lunch right now....?

what can i do? i plan on calling them ASAP but, he is eating at least every hour because of this, and i feel so bad, because i just noticed it was diareaha, instead of regular poop (he is breastfeed, so sometimes its harder to tell)

I dont think i can give him pedilite, or water can i? im really confussed! FIRST TIME MOM
