I've been in the gym, working very hard for five weeks. I've also incorporated a very healthy diet. I've lost 12 pounds so far, and Im thrilled with the results. However, a trainer at the gym explained that the first 10 lbs. are easy, it becomes a true effort after that. She suggested eating protein bars or shakes after my workout, and even a metabolism boosting diet pill each day. First, is this info correct, and second, there are so many bars and pills out there, what should I take??
