I've been separated from my wife for 6 months, and we've both realized it's time to start with the divorce. We are very friendly still, so we'd like to avoid lawyers and the courts as much as possible. We've been married for less than 3 years with no kids. Where do we get started to get the papers, etc to file ourselves?

My friends mother is an alcoholic. I'm a little irate because the family doesn't do anything about it. They'll yell at her when she's intoxicated but the next day everything will be fine. She's rude to me and my friend doesn't even trust his own mother anymore because of all the lies. I know there's not much I can do but does anyone have any advice for me??

I recently posted a question and it was deleted. I can only presume that this happened because I included the word "penis" in the title. I did this because is was a penis question and I am a adult so I use the correct term. If I had used "pinkle" instead, half of you wouldn't have known what I was talking about, would you?
