i have only just started taking the contraceptive pill and about 7 days later i had unprotected sex but he didn't ejaculate inside me. i am really paranoid about everything and am really worried im pregnant. we have had unprotected sex a few times since then but ive taken the pill every day as instructed. my breasts are really tender which can be a side effect of pregnancy but also from the pills i am taking so im quite confused!! also another big problem is that ever since i started taking the pills i never stopped bleeding. it has only been very light but does this affect the effectiveness of the pill? please help me!!
also when you are meant to have a period on the 7 pill free days, is this just withdrawal bleeding or is this a real period and can therefore show that i am not pregnant?

ok, here's another question which i'm sure will get called stupid by a large number of fundamentalist who don't want to think about it. this is on the topic of free will. i'm curious, how do christians explain free will when you say things like, "god blessed me with a wonderful wife and great friends." isn't that saying that god put them there for you? didn't those people have a choice whether or not to be associated with you? didn't you have the ability to make them realize that being around you was a good thing? or are you truly undeserving of the good things you have in your life, and needed god to give them to you? there's over 6 billion people on this planet, is it really that hard to find a few descent people that you can get along with?

My wife and I have a disagreement about pornography. I think that they can be a valuble marital aid, and I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. I am not addicted or anything, and I do not wan't to watch it all the time, I just need to have time to blow off steam. She won't let me watch anything on tv that may have women in bikinis or anything, or have friends, or go to stripclubs, etc. I think that these things are important for a guy to blow off steam from the rest of the week.
My wife thinks that a married man should never watch, or wish to look at another woman, and if he does than there is something wrong with him. She thinks that these things are ok if he is single, but should immediately stop when married.
What do you think?

I asked about this question in the homework section it got 2 responses quickly but I forgot to state an important part of the problem in my original question and there doesnt seem to be a way to reply to your question so I thought I would ask it here:
I have a question on my homework that asks to state the domain and range of the function g(x)=log(base3)(2-x)
Using the change of bases property I rewrote it as
f(x)=log(2-x)/log(3) and entered that function into my graphing calculator. The graph I got back was a downward sloping graph that ended at x=2 making the domain (-infinity, 2). Unfortunately this question is mulitple choice and the only 2 possible domains are (-infinity, infinity) and (0, infinity). I have been working on this problem for hours looking through my book for any examples with a base that isnt 10 or e and addition or subtraction of a variable and a constant but there isnt anything. Anyone see anything wrong with how I rewrote the equation?

Everyone, including the past "big boss" is telling me, "You can do it." However nice these words of encouragement might be, this job is not something I feel I have the knowledge to do. I have big reservations on whether or not I can pull this off. I am not a very good bulls***ter which appears to be pretty important. Of course delegation of duties is an option, but I can't just sit in this big leather chair and fart all day. I have to make this happen as I am responsible for a number of folks who are line staff here. That worries me because their jobs are on the line if I don't do mine well. Should I just throw in the towel and start pushing a broom at McDonald's? Maybe it's just that I haven't been part of the work world for very long and I have gone to the top of my field in a very short amount of time. I'm a hard worker, but so are all the people who work on the conveyor belts at Bird's Eye picking out rotten peas before they are packaged for our consumption. Damn.

The illegals come here for the jobs. They use or school systems and hospitals without paying taxes or insurance premiums. Builders and landscapers use illegals to perform their work but charge the US populace the same price for the home they had built at a reduced labor rate. Why not just do away with what is bringing them in the first place? The jobs.
If we punish those who hire them in the first place they wouldn't come here. No apartments rented, no jobs, no public schooling etc.
