I've done some research on the matter and have found that for the most part changes in barometric pressure affect fractures perhaps because your bones did not completely and absolutely seal together as if never broken.

I have heard it's due to barometric pressure, although I'm not sure what the connection is. I do know that arthritis seems worse when it rains, and other health problems seem to be related to weather conditions. Here's a poem I once wrote about this subject:
When weather forecasters are waxing lyrical
about conditions atmospherical
I get this strange, mysterious pain
And that's how I know it's going to rain.

I think it has something to do with Barometric/Atmospheric pressure: pressure exerted by the atmosphere
