That in commericials that involve couples they are wearing wedding rings but in tv shows they show sex outside of marriage.Why do we have this paradox in our culture,our overall acceptance and exploitation of sex yet at the same time we are conservative?

Like sad to the point of trying to kill myself. I'm even afraid to get in a happy mood because I just know something bad is going to happen. I'm only 14 and I've always been like this, and ofcoarse my parents don't notice it, and they wont take me to a doctor for it. Ughh i hate this. I dont know what to do !! =(

My class (1975) is having a reunion becuz everyone is turning 50 this year, I missed the 10th, 20th and the 30th, anyone between 45 and 55 go to one of these things after 30 years? was it a good experience or did you wish you had stayed home, i gotta travel 500 miles and stay in a hotel over night, Im wondering how many people went and had a Good or Bad time.

He has a friend that sells and started going to his house very often but i really dont know if he is smoking or doing the same thing as his friend how can i know?If I ask him he gets mad and we start to argue.I have never smoked in my life and i really wouldnt be with him if in fact he is doing something like that.And also i have caught him in so may lies.Which I confront him about too and he denies everything.please help me...

I am not saying that anyone is wrong or right but sometimes I get answers and I really can not comprehend them. And that not because of any writing flaws (usually I can make out even the worse grammar).
When I say comprehend I mean I can not understand what they are thinking...I can not grasp it. Its neat in one way but in another I feel like I am beating my head against the wall. (Not to convince but rather to understand)

OK well I'm in high school and have a crush on this girl, but where I go people don't really "ask eachother out" to like dates and stuff. Usually, relationships are started after several occurences at parties, and may "evolve" into more serious relationships. The problem is, because my school is so large there are many different groups of kids, and she is in a much different "group" if you will. I hit on her in class everyday, and have managed to get her number, but I don't know what to do to try to make something happen. She shows the typical "signs" of attraction, i.e. touching me during conversations, teasing me, etc (I do the same sort of thing), but I really can't tell if she likes me or not. Please let me know what you guys think.
