if my deposit for admission arrives after the national date of may 1st, will i still be offered admission?

Meaning, they accepted you and you had until May 1 to answer, and to make your deposit? I really don't know. I suggest you contact the school FIRST THING IN THE MORNING and discuss this with them. Perhaps you can wire them the deposit, or perhaps they will accept your verbal indication that you plan to attend, and give you a couple of more days to get in the deposit. Or... worst case, they may say forget it... you don't have your answer and money in today, your acceptance is no longer active. Either way, get on the phone and find out asap and see what you can do/negotiate.

I suggest calling the admissions office and letting them know that your deposit is on the way.

Maybe not. Some colleges have fast and firm deadlines. Contact your admissions office immediately. Good luck!

UGH... I remember my first time for this issue! as long as a consulor or financial aid knows. you should be ok. IF not... well I feel bad for u! I guess u get to work for a while!
