Devil Rays will win the East.

Well, the Red Sox are in first, but I would not say that they are winning, at least not on May 1. I think you know the answer to the other question. Just another genius with no life who is trying to bait Yankee fans. We'll be back. Yanks will play Boston late this month and in June and at full strength, you won't be facing Chase Wright and Jeff Karstens, and Wang will be his old self, as will Mo. Look out!

Hey how about the mighty Dice K? Yeah he's 2-0 against the Yankees, but 10 earned runs in 13 innings? ouch! He's lucky the Yanks didn't pitch well in his starts!

Yankees were 11-19 in 2005 and who won then? Lowell will do his second half-swoon and Beckett will revert to his gopher ball ways of last season. Schilling is 40 and Papelbon will eventually end up on the D.L. again, as he was going to move to the rotation to save wear and tear on his shoulder. Matsuzaka has shown to be just an average pitcher just far. Red Sox fans only talk because they are still nervous about the Yankees and know eventually they will overtake them.

The Yankees have 26 rings thus making them the most successful franchise by far in major league history. However the success of the Yankees at best has little bearing on their current status when you consider that they at best they only have a small handful of players left from their last world series championship in 2000.

Wake up, this isn't 2000 or 1978, the team that only has 6 rings just 2 of 3 against the Yankees at their own ballpark to compliment the sweep at Fenway.

And to Red Sox fans, talk it up now, however remember it is May 1st, and baseball is a marathon, not a sprint.

i think of the ny Yankees will win the AL east simply by fact we are tied with the Orioles and that they've a three recreation set with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees have a three recreation set with the pink Sox that are no longer as sturdy simply by fact the Tampa Bay Rays so the Yankees have a greater effective risk of winning. the ny Yankees are in 1st place with the Orioles, the Rays are in 2d place, Blue Jays are in third, and the pink Sox are in 4th.

Ok...i am thrilled that the Sox are in first and the Yanks are last..I always want my team to be on top...However, we know the Yanks probably wont stay on the bottom for too long and the Sox may or maynot stay on the top...The thing is..all Sox fans want their team to be #1 and Yank fans want theirs to be #1..There really isnt a reason why people should be "ha-ha'ing" the other team..Be happy with where it is right now..
As for the Yankees having won more World Series..that is true but, it is this team right now that we are talking about, not teams from the past..

I'm sorry, can you spell obnoxious loser? Seriously, congrats to the Sox on a good season so far, but it's just a game. Every team has bad seasons, even the Yankees. And the Red Sox aren't immune from bad seasons either.

At least the Yankees win more than one World Series a century. But never fear, Boston will find a way to close the gap and finish second (or third) again. They might have to make a couple of more errors, or make Wakefield their closer but in the long run they'll find a way to CHOKE !!
