OK well I'm in high school and have a crush on this girl, but where I go people don't really "ask eachother out" to like dates and stuff. Usually, relationships are started after several occurences at parties, and may "evolve" into more serious relationships. The problem is, because my school is so large there are many different groups of kids, and she is in a much different "group" if you will. I hit on her in class everyday, and have managed to get her number, but I don't know what to do to try to make something happen. She shows the typical "signs" of attraction, i.e. touching me during conversations, teasing me, etc (I do the same sort of thing), but I really can't tell if she likes me or not. Please let me know what you guys think.

One, if she is giving the typical signs that she likes you it might just mean that she likes you. And word of advice, just because your town or school is not the type of place that asks people out on a date, doesnt mean you have to follow along. The sure way to get her attention is to stand out among everyone else. Ask her to get some coffee or go see a movie with you. Get her alone and make it a habit. She'll get the message and things will evolve... be different and she will love it.

Call her. Get to know this girl better and your relationship will evolve. If you don't make the first move, it may be a long time before she makes the first move.
