his dad had joint custody of him until a few months ago - now he comes on tues and thurs and every other weekend. the whole time he is in our care he cries. he wakes up at 5 am and wants to watch tv and play video games and eat snacks - he says his mom lets him. he wont eat supper all he wants is icecream and chips and cookies - if we make him eat he makes himself throwup - sometimes all over the table. he wont interact with any of the family he just wants to sit in a daze in front of the tv - the other day the other kids were calling for him to come and play and he completely ignored them so i went in the room to tell him the other kids wanted him to play and he started crying hysterically and said all he wants to do is watch tv and that we are mean. noone is mean to him we try everything to get him to interact with us as a family and he wont. he never acted like this until he went to live with his mother full time. he also has a sis who is 10 and she is an angel i could go on & on

My wife and I are picking names for our firstborn - we don't and won't know what sex it is.
She is picking a name for a boy, me for a girl.

We had to remove some tile and break out the wall behind our shower/bath wall in order to put in a new part for new fixtures. So, now we need to repair that portion of the wall (about 3'x2') and re-tile it. Do we need to use greenboard (it looks like either that or just drywall was used originally) or cement board? Also, how do we join the new portion of backing to the old portion? When tiles are removed, they damage the old backing -- so I can't take off an extra row of tiles and then have that backer exposed in order to tape and put mortar over. Hubby says we can cut the backer to fit the opening, and then just go ahead and tile, and that the grout will effectively seam and waterproof those joints where the new backing meets the old tiled backing. Any suggestions?

Hi. I live with my sister and dad (divorce). Me and my sister get along ok (we have the occasional sibling fights, but thats about it). Lately she seems to be following the trend of low-rise jeans. Frankly I wouldn't care, except she's ALWAYS SHOWING HER BUTT OR HER UNDERWEAR!

Honestly, some days if say we are doing spring cleaning, I'll unintentionally get half mooned at by her or find out what color underwear she is wearing. I feel tempted to yell "crack kills" or make fun of her underwear, something like that.

Real reason though, I care for my sister and she being 16, I do not want other guys (or older men) to look at her as a sex toy.

How should I convince her to stop wearing low risers, or at least get a belt? One of her female friends once stuck a pencil down her underwear (and I was the one to point out minutes later), but other than that, nothing seems to deter her from wearing them.

*Sigh* Seriously I am tired of seeing her underwear/crack...
