Hi. I live with my sister and dad (divorce). Me and my sister get along ok (we have the occasional sibling fights, but thats about it). Lately she seems to be following the trend of low-rise jeans. Frankly I wouldn't care, except she's ALWAYS SHOWING HER BUTT OR HER UNDERWEAR!
Honestly, some days if say we are doing spring cleaning, I'll unintentionally get half mooned at by her or find out what color underwear she is wearing. I feel tempted to yell "crack kills" or make fun of her underwear, something like that.
Real reason though, I care for my sister and she being 16, I do not want other guys (or older men) to look at her as a sex toy.
How should I convince her to stop wearing low risers, or at least get a belt? One of her female friends once stuck a pencil down her underwear (and I was the one to point out minutes later), but other than that, nothing seems to deter her from wearing them.
*Sigh* Seriously I am tired of seeing her underwear/crack...

It is nice to hear that you care about your sister and her reputation. Why don't you sit her down and tell her about your concerns? Tell her that from a "guy's perspective".... Let her know that you care about her and that you don't want other guys looking at her as a sex object. Be honest.

ok I'm a guy and I do like looking at women's bodies but when I see a girl or woman dressing where her butt crack shows my instant thought is that she is retarded. Anyone who goes around showing their butt crack off is retarded. That is exactly how it looks. Like the person is so retarded they cant pull their pants up.
The funny thing is they think it is cool and that everyone out there wants to see it.

I doubt you can convince her, she is just going to have to outgrow it.

I have told my kids "Underwear is called that name because it goes UNDER your clothes". Everytime my son would "sag", I made him wear a belt for a week.

make fun of her. give her a wedgie. do something. or just put up with it. if she isnt aware if it, it is better for her to know. Espicially if she wears sexy underwear, i am sure she woudent want everyone seeing her thong.
