I'm a heterosexual, but I think that people should be able to love and marry who they want no matter what sex they are. I have been ridiculed by some gays and lesbians for speaking out for them. They say I couldn't uinerstand what they are going through. Should I keep my mouth shut or keep speaking out?

My car will read an average temp if I am driving in the city or traffic (stop and go) and the temp will read normally if I allow the car to idle for a period of time. Is my thermostat stuck open? If the temp is reading normally and I turn the heat on the temp will quickly drop all the way down.

He is legally retarded, but has no legal guardian as the courts have ruled he is competent, although the psychologists say his IQ is about 65.

I want to be sure he has the rights of gun ownership that the NRA wants for us all. He has had some violent, and unpredictable behavior in the past, but nothing that led to a felony offense which would prohibit him from owning a gun.

My question: does it sound right that a person like that is granted the right to buy a gun?

(this is a hypothetical question and is in no way meant to be defamatory to anyone of any intelligence level - except to NRA morons who can't see there's a problem in America with gun violence)

I rode into work today, it was 37 degrees when I left my house (its a 45 min ride) it was 52 when I got in.
Everyone I work with thinks Im nuts... am I?
90% of the people I work with have motorcycles and ride, however, I am the only person to have ridden in so far this year.

Don't you think that the media is rewarding these people who do terrible things by giving them attention? Don't you think maybe these things would happen less if they didn't make news all the time? Consider Terrell Owens - he does all kinds of things for negative attention and every time he does something he makes news, which is why he does it. If it didn't get attention maybe he would find it wasn't helpful. But these people get to intimidate and they get notoriety, not the kind you would want, but they have this desire for attention and the media gives it to them.It's just like a kid who acts up if the parent makes a big stink,and if the parent ignores the kid, the kid goes and does something else and doesn't make a stink. These killers are just the same way.He did this to get attention. I don't think he should be rewarded in a sense by having his picture all over the news and videos showing him waving guns and all. He should be SHUNNED BY SOCIETY AND IGNORED. What do you think?

I have a 1997 S10 and the other day it started making a clicking nosie. The sound is similar to a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle. I discovered that if I turned off the A/C that it stopped. If I run heat other than the defroster or run the vents its ok. Only when the A/C compressor has to enguage does the clicking start.
Its obvious its tied to that part, anyone have any ideas on why or solutions aside from replacing the assembly?
Part of me thinks something is stuck in it, part of me thinks it could be the clutch.
