1 Corinthians 13
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Galatians 5:22-23—
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering; patience, kindness, righteousness, The Faith;
23 Meekness; gentleness, humility, temperance; self-control__such things are not against any Law.

Hebrews 10:16, 24-27—
16 This is the covenant that I will renew with them after those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them;
24 And let us consider one another, how we may urge one another on toward love and righteous Works;

Yahchanan 3:10 In this the children of Yahweh and the children of the devil are manifest. Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of Yahweh, and he does not love his neighbor!

2Jo 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his Laws. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

1Jo 5:3 For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep his Laws: and his Laws are not grievous.

I believe it is fairly comprehensive, though not exhaustive. The apostle meant to give us a sketch, not a codified list. In order to do the latter, he would have had to spend an entire lifetime showing us how love behaves in every circumstance. In short, he would have had to place us back under the law rather than what God gave Him to give us: a broad set of principles and the expectation that we walk with God for the rest.

yes, this gives the absolute attributes of love; further look at Galatians 5: 22-23 for understanding further that this "fruit of the Spirit" is talking about the spirit of LOVE, which is the spirit of GOD and also we are taught in the Bible that ''God=Love; Love+God". When you read 1 Corinthians 13 1-7, you are looking at how God/Love is in nature and behavior. Love is the MATURE way of living!
"Love" and these Bible passages listed explains that LOVE exists in keeping with itself, not in keeping with the "lov-ee" or the "lov-er".
The 'feelings' we identify as being "IN love" have nothing to do with actual LOVE, well, little to do with it.
The feelings are a biological, physical response that God gave us to ensure that the human species would propogate with enjoyment and exclusivity until the COMMITMENT level of real love could come into play in the relationship. These 'feelings' come and go, but the commitment of love and "to love" is the mature part.
Hooray for the feelings of attraction and infatuation that accompany it.

I have to say, that though I am not a Christian and believe the bible is nothing more than a collections of myths, legends and moral stories, I have to say that this passage is particularly beautiful. I agree with it 100%

Yes I believe in real love but in this day and age the only thing people consider as love is just sex and money I wish I could find someone who would love me for who I am not just sex and money

Bingo, i'm thinking a similar subject such as you. Bible stated to forgive your enemies yet how interior the worldwide could Jehovah desire to punish them and cause them to go through? It do no longer likely make sense. there is no burning interior the hell. there is no hearth interior the hell, the two! i don't be attentive to a thank you to ask that query long term bypass yet you got solid precedent, MR.
