Do you think that it is fair to ask your parents to help you out and do the job you are supposed to do yourself (on your own or with the baby's father) as the baby's natural mother?



In other words, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU LET YOURSELF BECOME PREGNANT?!?

I am 22 years old and in 4 days I will be a mother. When I got pregnant my ex and I were already broken up and he pretty much bailed on me. Called randomly here and there but never went to doctor appointments, or lamaze or anything. Now he is calling saying he awnts to be in the delivery room and he wants a say in god parents and baby names and so on. I made all those decisions(name, godparents) by myself and I personally think that if it was so important to him he would have been around. Am I right for naming our daughter and making certain decisions on my own?

Life is too short. You go on a date and right away you think some guy is wanting more. Maybe yes. Maybe no. Why can't you talk about it without running like a scared rabbit. I am at the point right now where I don't even want to bother asking you out anymore. You are afraid to even talk to a guy. You act high and mighty in a bar or public situation. I don't deserve it. i just asked a question about gun control in relation to the tragedy that happend yesterday. my heart goes out to anyone who lost someone in yesterdays shootings...but how can there honestly be people who dont think stricter gun control laws would have prevented it? give this kid a knife, a rock, a pointy stick, a car as a weapon instead of a gun. do you really think he would have gotten as far and killed as many people as he did? the fact of the matter is there are countries with strict gun control policies that have such a low crime rate compared to the US that its almost outragous. yes, the second ammendment gives us the right to bear arms, and i am fully aware that means all types of arms, but semi-autos didnt exist when that was written. yes, if someone had payed attention to this kid it might not have happend, but no one did. no one is paying attention to the random kid in california who may be planning, or the kid in minnesota either. not everyone fits in the sterotype
