We live in a very materialistic, individualistic and superficial society. A society that only promotes individualistic self-indulgence. A society that promotes and glorify "power and affluence". A society were those who don't pursue these extravagants "tastes" are consider "losers". Such society promotes alienated individuals. And some of them grew with an intense, not all, hatred to themselves and others. What do you think?
P.D.: I am not trying to "justified" what this crazy guy did in that Virginia college. But I can understand him.

I thought I could handle the fling without emotion, but now I realize that I cannot. After 7 months, I am in love with her.

Here is my problem, I think she loves me also but does not want to part with her older husband who is a big time bread winner but is very crude. I do not know how Sara and I happened, we just did and we cannot stop. We enjoy each other tremendously, I do give her what she does not get at home. However, I don't think she will leave him for anybody at this time.

So should I break it off? Somehow I do not know if I can, I am madly in love with Sara. I appreciate your opinions and please understand, we have a very strong love for each other and cannot just flip a switch and stop seeing each other.

What are your thoughts?

I've known him 4 10 months, & he's not ready to committ yet, but I am. I know he has a lot on his plate, but we do everything together. We go to movies, he spends the night at my place, I spend the night at his, we're together 4 or 5 days out of the week and often spend the whole weekend together. I've met his whole family. I keep saying it's a relationship but he just doesn't want to wear the labels.

Should I be satisfied with the companionship? I'm really not interested in seeing any other guys and I hate having to start over & try something new with someone else. I love him and don't want to seem impatient, but sometimes I feel like he's stalling. I know he has school, work & money issues, but we're basically a couple, this is some kind of relationship so why doesn't he want to call it that?

If the man who knew Jesus, was allegedly hand-picked by Jesus to lead his flock, never insisted on his own infallibility as a matter of faith, why do modern popes insist that you believe them incapable of error?

Does it not seem arrogant to you that modern popes hold themselves to be more infallible than did Peter?

okay so, recently my grades in school have been slipping, but i actually tried hard, but school is getting tougher at my age. i actually do feel really stressed out...like seriously. they're threatening to take away my phone, but having my phone isnt even the problem. its not like i talk on it for hours everyday. i use it mainly to call them to tell them im staying after school for some activity. as matter of fact, i have 1000 minutes a month and i only use about 30 minutes...i dont even enjoy talking on the phone. but still, what if there's an emergency. what am i gonna do? ive actually needed my phone for emergencies before....my phone even has my alarm clock which wakes me up 6 o'clock every morning...i would get an online alarm, but those make my heart beat really fast and i heard that's not good, so im trying not to use those...and being late to class deducts points from my grade. so what do i say to them to convince them to let me keep my phone????

..why are we all mourning over the losses? I mean, women who have abortions outrank his killings by millions.
