sunshine on your sholders on a cool spring day, the different arrays of ice cream that you still havent tried yet, a good book that will have you so into it that you cry, a moment with your significant other and his hand is carressing the center of your back that gives you goosebumps, the second your child is born and you hear it cry, the loss of a loved one and you get the lump in your throat that wont go away, the feeling of laughter.....i could go on forever.....

course, if that genetic/darwinist reductionist view is too depressing, you might try this:
life is being what you are
what you are is human
the right way to be that is to act always on two principles:
1. we all depend on each other
2. we all depend on the world around us
that's how i think about life, despite being a darwinist/atheist/etc. There's no need for despair in realism if you accept that all you can do is be what you are.

My dad is always telling me that it is what you make it but I do not agree with his theory.
Did I make it that the buses in my village come at bad times so I cannot get a job? No the council did.
Did I make it so that there are no NHS dentists? No.
Life is not what you make it.
Wish it was though!
I would make it so I win a million pounds and then I would not have to somehow find a job.
