What is Buddhism?

I know I just asked a very hard question with lots of information. Please, I would appreciate it if someone took the time to give me a detailed answer. What is Buddhism exactly? What do Buddhist believe? Do they pray/believe in God, or do they pray to the Buddha? Who was the Buddha, and what did he teach? Is it true there has been other Buddhas, and if so who/what did they do? Is there a Buddhist...bible, or something of the sort? I thank anyone and everyone in advance who takes the time to answer my long, long question! **I would like to see Buddhism from two sides: one from a follower, and one from someone educated in Buddhism, if possible.

Do most Mormons not know about the Baha'i Faith?

From what I understand of the Mormon religion The prophet Jo smith said something about Twin phrophets apeering in 1844 to bring in the Mellinial Dispansation? The Bab Revled that he was a messenger from god in 1844 and told his folowers about the comeing of Baha'u'llah. Baha'i's think Baha'u'llah was the return of the spirit of truth (christ) The Glory of god, who brought new teachings for the new age, or the Melinial Dispensation. I'm sorry for my poor spelling ability, but why diden't Mormons all become Baha'i's when they found out? Or have the Mormons just never heard of the Baha'i's cause the faith was founded in Iran?

1994 Dodge Caravan. Engine won't start. Any ideas?

I was driving home and the engine just died. It didn't seize or make any funny noises before it died. I have replaced the coil and the SBEC, and it still won't work. I have also checked the fuel filter, and that is not the problem either. It isn't the battery either. I have no idea what to try next. Any suggestions would be amazing. Thanks.

IRS levies and payroll?

The IRS levied my employers account and we are a small business and all that money was for payroll. Does anyone know if the IRS can not levy payroll funds if they are labeled payroll. The IRS say they can do whatever they want. Does anyone know if they can do this or not. I need a specific code if they can not levy payroll funds. Thanks for the help.

1st bunch is off her husband who cant wait for her to get better

2nd bunch is off her surgeon to wish her a speedy recovery and good luck

Is it just me or is this whole site biased?

All the atheist trolls spend their whole day mocking religion, but if anything comes up mocking atheism, its deleted. You know its true. I dont give a rip about which ones right or not. Its just not right. Its unconstitutional.

If someone's Mother is completely & totally disabled is she considered a "qualifying child" for EIC credit ?

She passes all of the criteria for 'qualifying child' or 'qualifying relative', but what worries me is that 'parent' is not listed on the information sheet. I need to know if she will qualify the Head of Household for a 2nd EIC credit, a difference of over one thousand dollars in refund. Can taxpayer take the EIC credit for 2 dependents, himself and Mother, is the question; she does pass all criteria . Thanks

Can chevy / gmc 350 motors be interchanged ?

I owe a C-30 1 ton gmc 1986 with a 350 motor... serial colde "M". I was told that this motor is unique to this perticuliar model... Is that true and if not what other motor could I use ?

Anyone find it interesting that Bush was quick to scurry over to the victims @ Virginia Tech?

And then could you also tell me, how long did it take for him to respond personally to the victims of hurricane katrina?

Is Bush's respnse perhaps in the foggy eyed wake of how important it is to prove that as a president you actually (at least to try) need to express sympathy to those who are not necessarily within the same tax bracket, yet still likely, though dim-wittedly elected him into office?
