I was driving home and the engine just died. It didn't seize or make any funny noises before it died. I have replaced the coil and the SBEC, and it still won't work. I have also checked the fuel filter, and that is not the problem either. It isn't the battery either. I have no idea what to try next. Any suggestions would be amazing. Thanks.

Engine problems that happen suddenly like that are usually either fuel or ignition related. The car isn't getting fuel, or the ignition system isn't igniting it. You need a mechanic to diagnose it, but possible culprits are the coil, distributor or a broken timing chain/belt. You could also explore fuel related issues..but that's less likely since it stopped suddenly. Is there fuel moving through the filter? Maybe you have a broken fuel line

You need to diagnose the problem

1. Check to be sure you are getting spark, or at least electrical current running through the wires. (You can check this easily with a simple timing light you can rent for free from a place like Autozone). If you aren't getting spark, you should check to see if the rotor under the distributor cap is rotating. If not you've got a broken timing belt. If it is moving then igniter module may have died.

2. Check to be sure you are getting fuel. If not, fuel pump, no signal to injectors are all possible causes.
