If council tax is replaced by a local income tax what's to stop outsiders buying up homes and contributing virtually nothing to that community?
Maybe there are plans by SNP and the Lib Dems to stop this happening but I haven't heard what they are.

I have 2 turtles that are normally active and healthy. But the past few days one turtle is lethargic and sleeping all the time. He seems to be eating well and he has no other signs of being sick. He just isn't as active as usual. This isn't normal for him. Why is he like this?

i have already recieved my income tax refund (state and federal) a couple of months ago. the other day there was a deposit in my account for several hundred dollars from the irs. could this have been a mistake?

What is this life about? WHY the hell do we care about anything? our looks? what people think? I can do whatever I want and no one on earth can stop me. Nothing truly explains anything. There are no absolute answers. The world is what you make it. If you want to believe in the power of God then you’ll find it; And If you want to believe in something else then you’ll find that too. Everything requires a bit of faith. It becomes real only once you believe it. My truth is not yours. And my lessons learned cannot be shared. If my own happiness is the purpose then satisfaction is something I’ll never know. Everyday I look to the sky to make sure I’m on the same earth and the Northern Cross always reminds me that I am. Everyday seems like the day before and that’s because I allow it. It seems to always slip my mind that my family is amazing but the thought never truly escapes. Forgiveness just might be the answer to all our problems. Lonely nights put everything into better perspective but too much and the view becomes shitty. When did love become such a bad experience? I never knew what bad energy was but I found out this year. What is the ultimate evil? If there is good in everybody then why is it so hard to find it in some people? Whoever said ignorance is bliss needs to help me understand. This world can be escaped but is where you’re going any better? Too much of a good thing is a good thing. Is being drink or drug-induced the only way to have fun these days? Or am I lucky that my friends are always on a natural high?

Every time I try to put gas into my tank it keeps clicking off. I get about 60 cents in and it clicks off.After the 1st click its lucky to get another 5 cents before clicking again. The gas seems to be only going in the pipe then slowly draining into the tank. Takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get $5 in it. Anyone have any thoughts on this problem

me and my boyfriend of a little over 2 years broke up yesterday because he wants to be able to just do what ever with out hurting me, and i relized that he isnt going anywhere in life. i feel so confused and lost. he tells me that he still loves me and that he knows that ive always been a loyal caring person to him, yet he still doesnt want to be with me. he was wondering what would happen if in a couple of weeks or months he relized that he really does need me in his life, and he showed me that he would change, and actually do something with his life, if i would take him back. i dont know what to do because i feel like i have no life with out him, yet i have a hard time trusting someone that tells you your the only one for them and that they want to spend the rest of their lives with you, then do this to me. he says that im still his best friend and that he is going to be there for me no matter what.i just dont know how to get over him and if i sould take him back if he does change
