2. Pregnant? Doubtful- most pregnant turtles act pretty normal until nesting time. Assuming you are even mistaken in the sex.

4. Age is another possibility. Most turtles become more lethargic as they get older. The sudden onset is a bit unusual, however.

Take it to the vet both. and ask if they are male and female. Tell doctor you are worry.About the one you are talking about. Poor boo boo I hope the turtle gets better. Good Luck.

Many turtles in captivity will try to hibernate occasionally.... that might be it?
Does he have adequate heat and exposure to sunlight?

Seasonal changes (hibernation), water quality (disease like soft shell), and temperature (too high or low.)
