Yes, your poor dog. She needs to go to the vets.
It's called a muzzle by the way, or her mouth if you like :-) Birds have beaks, pigs have snouts.
Mouth pain is most commonly dental problems. If she's yelping when she's not even being touched, this must be pretty darn painful - and therefore serious. It may not be general dental decay - depends if she's old or not - she may have broken a tooth or something. It could also be an external problem, like something small lodged in her skin or an insect skin (any swelling?) but my money's on something going on in her mouth.
You will get her taken to the vet won't you? You obviously care, so do the best for her.

The only way to find out is a trip to the vet. She could have a cut in her mouth from chewing, or have an ulcer, or an infection.

I would for sure take your pup to the vet. It may be a cut or some kind of sore. I wouldn't wait to long!
Good Luck!

I'd be scheduling a trip to the vet promptly...
Or she could have done what my puppy did once.... gnawed on a tube of super glue and glued his tounge to his teeth... lol. Took a day or so to come unstuck... funniest (and also scariest) thing he's ever done.

Please, take her to a vet ASAP. Evidently she's in pain. Only a vet can tell you what's wrong. It could be something awful but fixable.
