To me, this guy is no terrorist. He seems to only be a very stupid kid whose stupid parents allowed him to convert to Islam and travel to Pakistan on his own to learn more about his faith. Being young and stupid, he got brainwashed by some sick people and was led astray into Afghanistan where he ran into more sickos. He has already served 4 1/2 years of a 20 year sentence and was recently moved from Medium Security to the Supermax in Colorado. He has renounced Islam and acknowledged the stupidity of his past. Should his sentence be commuted?

i've had a really sore throat since sunday (it's Friday now) which is unusual for me anyway) but on Wednesday this developed into a dry cough which is now more chesty. It really hurts like i've bruised something when i cough now. Should i go to the doctors or is this just something that will pass? does it sound like an infection?

As I look through the questions on here, I see a large number of people who seem so angry with other religions, Christianity in particular - and I don't understand why they see it alright to make up allegations, slurs, and rude remarks against them. There are bad apples in every bunch - that's just a fact of life. Our country was founded on the premis of "Freedom of Religion" so people can choose for themselves what to believe - whether it be Muslim, Christian, Athiest, etc. Why is it necessary to bash what you don't understand, or what you don't believe, instead of learning more about it & voicing what you believe rather than condemning what you don't? Isn't Freedom of Religion part of what makes us individuals, and isn't individuality supposed to be a beautiful thing?

What if you or one of your loved ones were raped, would you still love God if he said that the rapist was then obligated to pay your father some beef and veggies and then marry you, and you could never divorce the rapist?

Would you still love your pastor if he did those things? How about your neighbor?

1. Denzel Washington refused to do a love scene with Julia Roberts out of respect for his female african-american fans. Did anyone call for his firing? No.
2. There was en episode of Will & Grace where Karen was telling everyone how she loved a particular taxicab driver in Jamaica because he would drive her to her hotel real fast so that she didn't have to look at any of the locals. Is anyone calling for her firing? No.

How come when individulas use the term "biracial" or "mixed" people only think of black and white. There are other racial mixes but it seems as though people only think of black of white, which is distrubing to me.

I hate to get rid of the gifts but most do not fit with my decor. I am at a loss when friends and family visit and they do not see this or that which they have given me.
