I am particularly interested in areas such as Florida and California. I work in a local produce store in Massachusetts, and often get visitors that come in and are amazed at vine ripened tomatoes and juicy peaches. Al Sharpton jumped on the Duke lacrosse rape bandwagon super quick. From the moment the story hit the wires, Al Sharpton was already on a plane to Durham with his megaphone.
I'm not saying that Sharpton doesn't have a right to voice his opinion. But his characterizations of the lacrosse players contributed greatly to the media craze that happened, and I think he should be held partly responsible for the pain and suffering it caused the players, who had to suffer through hateful speech and defamation of their characters for an entire year.
Al Sharpton will go anywhere where he can drive a wedge between the black and white communities. He will do anything to force himself into the spotlight, even at the cost of other people (as we see in this case).
Don't get me wrong. I think someone should speak for the black community. I just think a racial muckraker isn't the right person for the job. He causes more harm than good.
Shouldn't he apologize for his role in defaming them?

Q: Why? What does a cruel dictator do that makes it OK to invade his country?
A: Well, for one thing, he tortured his own people, and killed thousand of the Kurds using those same WMD’s we were talking about, weren’t you listening again?

A: No China didn’t invade anyone like Saddam did in Kuwait and threaten the worlds oil markets, so Don't go comparing China to Iraq. China is a good economic competitor, where millions of people work for slave wages (the comparison being what we get for wages here in the good ole USA, because those wages in China are and have improved their standard of living) in sweatshops to make U.S. corporations richer, besides China exports more than the US does, they are now 2nd in the world.
Q: So if a country lets its people be exploited for American corporate gain, it's a good country, even if that country tortures people?

I was just curious as I felt that I have hurt my mother feelings on several occasions and have put her down and made her feel bad. I am unsure why I may have done so... but was curious about whether this made me an abuser? (Age 14-16 at the time)
If a male, son of 19 was to have hit/mentally targetted his mother/father, I would have counted that as domestic abuse.
Arguments have ended in mental/physical violence occuring within my family, but where does the line separate disaplining a child and abusing a child?
