I am a girl in high school in the Northern VA/Washington DC area. I want to go Pro in soccer. How do I do that?

I have played in a rec leauge for many years, am on the JV team at my school and have been told I am pretty good.

What is a parent to do when the new, girls middle school soccer coach takes the team from 3 undefeated seasons, to 2-16, and out scored 65-8 and refuses to change his set up of 1-2-1-3-3. A dimond defense? These kids are in middle school. Putting the entire defense on one girl has not and does not work. These girls are getting slaughtered by the other better coached teams. We have the skills, our girls have the heart, what a shame for this sport.
Tried the co-curicullar director and the Principal (he comes from England, would think he would have been a help to the girls), but they support this coach-
For one who loves this sport and has coached these kids from 3rd to 6th grade, it hurts to see them lose merely because they have a inept coach.
What is a parent/taxpayer to do?

Hope Solo had a right to be angry!! She was just stating that she thought she could of made those saves. I as a starting goalkeeper have been unfairly benched b4. You feel so terrible when they let in easy shots!! Granted, she didn't have to publicize it, but the media was more then likely pumping her 4 info!! She even went back and apologized and said that she didn't mean to put Scurry down. WHat was she supposed to do, say oh, I would of made a stupid mistake too because I'm a starting keeper? I think it's also kinda rash that her team had to go and tell the whole world she was wrong and they won't let her even come to the game!!! I just wanna see Scurry let in a bunch of goals or get hurt or something and they'll have to put a player in the goal!!

Can I have your opinion?

The seniors are making t-shirts for our high school soccer team and we need help coming up with a motivating saying to put on the back of our shirts that will stay with us for the whole season. We were thinking like "together we can" or "we believe" or something of that sort. thanks :)

...at the first practice they were very rude to me and some other new girls and I know that It will get better, however, I'm afraid to play my best cause I dont want to give those girls the idea like I'm showing off or anything...If you understand my situation any advice??

When a goalie has caught a ball off of a shot from the other team is there a rule that the goalie cannot drop it in the box before throwing it or kicking it back into play. My daughter's team was called on this resulting in free kicks for the other team when our goalie accidentally dropped the ball while walking out to the larger box line(she is only 7). The ref called a penalty and awarded the other team a free kick from the middle of the larger box. I have never heard of this rule. I have watched many pro games where the goalie drops the ball in the box and passes it to his or her teamates. My questions in whole is can you drop a ball in the box and pick it up without penalty?
