It's popular for kids, but not adults. Americans don't like soccer because they don't score enough.

Well. The US Women's National Team is REALLY good. They win a lot more stuff than they men. They show the occasional USWNT friendlies on ESPN but that's about it. I really hope the Women's World Cup next month brings in a lot of viewers/news.
But they do usually show all the Women's College games. UNC is awesome. Every girl here who plays soccer wants to go there.

There used to be a proffesional Womens Soccer League however it stopped due to finacial difficulties. There has never been a professional league in England so this shows that is is important in America. There is talk of the league starting again soon.

No one cares about women's sports in America. For one soccer is not big at all, so women's soccer is toward the bottom.

I don't know any other questions, and I only know that in Highschool it's really popular along side Volley Ball for girls. As far as major sports, extremely small. Not wide spread at all. Soccer in general isn't very popular in Amerca - it's one of the least popular sports, actually, if not the most.

its extremely popular over there and most girls who get scholoarships in america do because of football (soccer) ! there are loads of different teams loads of professional leagues and tournemnets and it is shown a rekon as much as rugby is over here !! they also get paid more than women footballers over here !!

it is an excellent team. probbably the best womens team in the world.( they'd woop the mens team's butts! ) theyve won 3 world cups too and 1 olympic gold and 1 olympic bronze

oooh, not many people like soccer in america, talk about women's soccer. they're more with hockey, and lacrosse, and football, and golf. but anyway not even in europe there aren't many womens' teams

It is pretty big...they are shown on tv once a week, there are a lot of teams and crowds......about a couple of thousand not bad eh?
