Why did hope solo (the goalie) get kicked off usa women's soccer team????

when i saw solo make the comments, i took it as she was critical of a bad coach making a bad decision. i didn't think she meant that scurry was a bad player, we all know she's not. but, solo was the hot hand and scurry had not played in along time. it was just a coach trying to regain control of a team that should have never been his! these players entire lives are built around this sport and the few moments they have to let people see it at it's best, and he took that moment away from the team, as well as solo and the people who watch it. it should be ryan apologizing to the team, solo and the fans that follow this team and the women who live for it. i think she should be disciplined, but not as severely as he is doing being that he will be fired after this next match. solo will and should be back for she has earned the spot as number 1 goalie and despite backlash on her comments, she was right about the soon-to-be ex-coach of the women's team.

She was critical of her coach and commented on a team player. She should have stopped at the comments on the coach. One thing does need to be remembered, one team players that was critical of Hope who is a stiker didn't strike. No one on the team scored so them being critical of Hope is a little far fetched.

when the coach gets criticized by one of his players , it is typical of his pride that he wont select them as punishment for the next match
but Hope Solo will be the one who laughs last when he gets the can and players thrive from disappointments such as this

She challenged the coach's WRONG move and his pride got the best of them. He sacrificed the whole season for his attempt to give an old player a shot in the spotlight. Too bad the light went out. He should be the one gone.

she didnt get kicked off
she is just not attending this last game so the team can focus
to win the 3rd place match but hopefully she will be back soon

Because of what she said about her teammate and coach.
But mostly her teammate.
She kicked her team when they were down
and now she's paying her dues.
