Not in England there's only one good women's team in the country and that's the arsenal ladies' side. Unless other teams put something into the female league we'll have no good English women's team.

First off Grey Ryan is a guy, who had no business coaching on the international level. He played a few years in the NASL and coach a few mediocre college teams.
that being said. We have the talent on the field already of Germany, actually we have more talent and skill. Germany is a fundamental team that plays kindergarten football. The reason they win is because the play it flawlessly. You see nothing flashy out of Germany. You see results.
The US squad actually had to change their play style because Greg Ryan could not coach the 6 forward style of soccer.
Depending on the next coach, I am hoping they get Dorrance or DiCicco back, that will decide if we get back to the American style of soccer for the women, which is complete domination.
Record a side for Coach Ryan, he made several horrible decisions that cost of a few valuable players to injury, and possible a gold medal game against Germany in the world cup, that is why he was fired.

If "we" is the U.S. WNT we have already beaten them. If "we" is the U.S. WNT, before the WC we were the number 1 ranked FIFA women's team in the world (having beaten Germany between WC's). I think the US is ready to take the women's game more seriously...and hence goodbye Greg Ryan. Keeping the ball on the ground will be a great starter!!!!!

Fortunately for the US team there is the so-called youth movement. We have a young team that can only get better. I believe that there are gold medals in the near future.
