With Easter just ending, I got to thinking. Remember all those old Hollywood Bible epics? Do you think that filmmakers should make a few or not?

I noticed that they are never made anymore. How come? Would it be profitable to make a big budget Biblical epic (i.e. Ben-Hur, Ten Commandments)?

I would like some smart, thought-out answers. No smart aleck ones, please.

I am looking at being a single mom of two young children soon. I am a homemaker now and will need to begin schooling to have a career to provide for myself and my children. Naturally, I don't want to work 60 hours a week, I wantt o be with my kids as much as possible. I also need to bring in enough income to support us well. I have taken career assesment tests, and they suggest something in education or social work. I love the stay at home mom lifestyle, I would be June Cleaver if I could! I really enjoy housework, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and of course being with my kids. Are there any other single moms out there who have found a career that works really well for them this way? Thanks in advance!

I use and like Feria but I find that I only need 1/3 to 1/2 of the dye solution to do my hair. I'd like to be able to mix my own solution of developer and the tube of dye but I'm not sure what the proportions are. Also, what is the best way to store the unused developer until I need it again?

I suppose I could always just measure the total quantity of developer and the tube of dye and then do the math, but I'm hoping that someone who has done there can give me some tips.

Thanks!

Wouldn't the radiation and waves from microwaves be dangerous? If there was a leak, could a microwave do damage if one was in constant exposure to the radiation? Just wondering, kind of argued w/ my dad about this.

I am 26 years old and have no formal training in dance and I have always wanted to try ballet but was never disciplined enough to follow through with getting lessons. I hope now is not too late. I don't want to compeat I just want the ability to dance well. I am very fit and take yoga so I am still flexible. Do you think it is possible to teach an older woman to move with the grace of a ballet dancer, who started when she was young, or has my ship sailed?
