Point one: I'm going to assume all the misspellings, omissions, and garbled sentences in your question are really typos, and forgive them because you're in haste. [For other answerers' guidance: "led to the was" -> "led to the war."] But whatever you do, DON'T repeat that sloppiness in what you turn in!
Your teacher is giving the assignment in this form partly so you can't just cough up great stretches of somebody else's data, but have to UNDERSTAND the material, at least from our own 21st-century point of view. I wouldn't worry too much about getting into Sam Houston's head and knowing how he would actually have thought and felt. (But if you can, that's definitely good, and you should run with it.)
As for giving you a source: Your first source MUST be your textbook(s) for the course. They may be enough to give you all the information you need to imagine Houston's speech.
But IF not, ANY search engine--Yahoo!'s, Google, AltaVista, or the multi-engine bundlers like DogPile, will give you answers if you enter a good selection of words.
Having done that myself, I'm going to give you a shortcut; you want:
"texas revolution"
including the quotes, which mean the engine has to look for the whole phrase together.
Be sure to study SEVERAL of your hits, NOT just the wikipedia. Go by the joke that actually tells the truth: Copying from one source is plagiarism; copying from three or more is research!
After you have the data, use your imagination. Lean on the lectern, stare sternly out over the crowd of Texians and Mexicans, and make them believe you can lead them to greatness.
P.S. Expect to pull an all-nighter. You can't possibly do this assignment quickly. And for the love of Mike, USE your spellchecker!

You need to be creative. Put yourself in his shoes. Google the name Sam Houston. It brings up a lot of sources.

*What led up to the Texas Revolution?- Settlers wanted independence from Mexican dictator Santa Ana. He abolished slavery and enforced customs duties so settlers rebelled.
* Maybe something like "This is a proud day in the history of The Republic of Texas," and then lead into the sadness of not being annexed to the US. After that assure the mexican population living in independent texas that they will have the same rights as any other citizens in the republic or something to that effect. I hope these give you some ideas. Just use your imagination. You are going to have to do a little bit of research. Good luck.

If you don't get distracted by blogging and wasting your time, and go through all the notes and books for that course, you'll probably do better in your grades. I doubt that this yahoo blog-site is meant for us to be nursemaids for students here.
