It's fine. I don't eat any mammals (gave up red meat 13 yrs ago b/c they have more fat than fish, bird, or reptiles- it helped me lose weight and I never went back). As long as you are getting protein from other sources and the nutrients you need, you'll be fine!
And to correct another statement- Some cuts of pork contain high amts of cholesterol (the fatty acids in pork have a unique shape that are easy for humans to absorb; thus increasing the cholesterol level). However, there are a few cuts that are actually leaner than that of chicken breast & contain less fat and cholesterol. The cut or type of meat isn't the only thing that matters though- you also have to look at how you cook it. But like I said, if you feel okay and you are getting protein from another source, it's fine to not eat meat (or certain types of meat.)

You are asking this question in the vegetarian/vegan section for ???? why would you ask people who eat no meat if what you are eating is good .. of course we will all say NO .. it is not good ... and then some meat eaters will come answer with yes .. what is the point here because I for one am missing it ? I can only add that yes I am glad you do not eat pigs.. they are highly intelligent ..many scientists believe they are smarter then dogs .. they show affection and feelings ... and know when they are going to be hurt ..(as many other animals do ) .. but I still believe eating any animal is wrong ..so what else can I say ..

That's around the time I stopped eating PORK too....But you should probably lay off the BEEF to...I stopped eating both...It takes beef a very long time to digest in your digestional system...As a great beef substitute I eat a lot of ground turkey which is just as good...you can use it to make Turkey Burgers, spaghetti, stuffed bell peppers, lasagna and much more.. Fish and seafood are great too but even those should be eaten in moderation because they cause high cholesterol...

I'm a vegan. Some people think I'm in-sane. K? I don't. You shouldn't be vegetarian unless you wanna be. I mean, I'D say you should be because of the horrible ways animals are treated, and also because–I mean, would you want to eat your dog/cat? Same thing. Be vegetarian for ethical/dietary reasons only. If you only care about taste, you'll probably give up in a week.

Is it good?
It is not good for the beef, lamb, fish or chickens.
Lean pork is healthy and no longer considered bad for heart health.
If you are really worried about your health you wouldnt eat meat at all.
