Our oil reserves are depleting fast and how long more can the economies and normal life last when oil reserves run dry? What can we use after this? Go back to wood/charcoal? Then all the trees will be cut down before regrowths are achieved and cause a major reduction in oxygen supplies. Nuclear energy is still very dangerous to handle and risky. Solar energy is seasonal and not all day long. Wind power is marginal energy, not always there to charge up huge banks of batteries. Marine wave power is not sufficient and depends on the tides. Countries with high mountains and hydro electric power will be saved from this doom as long as there is water in the lakes and reservoirs to run them. Maybe we all go back to the good old horse and buggy days again in no time at all.

When Cons use it it's to point out of those polled only 7% were liberal (as if that's accurate, I'm sure I'd want my liberalism out in a poll from Military Times) But then NEVER put the rest of the poll in context, maybe because it says

Hello, I'm a martial artist, and I recently moved up to Bellingham, WA, and I'm curious about whether or not I need a permit to carry/own my sword. I recently had to walk home from practice (my home is about 2 1/2 miles away), and I was keeping my weapon hidden the entire way home out of fear that I'd be arrested, or fined, or something of that nature if the police noticed. Do I need to obtain a permit to carry/own my sword? Do I need to register it as I would a firearm? Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I have been dealing with an epsodic attacks. This has left me with a tracheostomy. I was a 32 year old healthy nurse. In may of last year I fell to the ground at my sons baseball game unable to breath. I have since experienced over 30 simular attacks. I can not breath dispite the trach. unless assisted by ventaliton. Breaking every blood vessel in my face while having this attack is the newest of symptoms. These attacks last from hours to a day. Usuallyx-ray revelies fluid in lungs. I have seen every speciality Dr. I know of and no one has a clue. This past week I was in Teneseee Visiting my mom, while being air lifted to Nashville no one there still knows what could be causing what i consider to be life threating respitory failure attacks. I am awaiting an appointment at the mayo clinic, hoping for some anwsers. I just wish there was a real life House who would take my case.

I'm trying to decide what form of birth control i want?
So, I was on the pill for a year and a half. I didn't like taking pills every night. So i stopped taking them. I'm going in to the doctor and I need to weigh out my options. I know that they have shots but you gain a lot of weight with them but I wouldnt have to worry about taking pills . What other form of birth control do they have?? Don't say abstinence, because I am not taking them to prevent birth. If you have been on any, which one is best?? Thanks

Since everyone else can post "questions" that are not really questions, I might as well post mine. You may respond as you wish...

Now, I'm not one who's seduced by "conspiracy theories," but I found it extremely fascinating that ALL EIGHT OF THEM declined to press obscenity charges on cases that the DOJ was desperately running up a flagpole without success.

Now, why? — since we know these prosecutors are Republicans who would love to win a solid case— why would they frown on pursuing such charges?

Bush's DOJ Porno Task Force told the prosecutors to go after X-rated entertainment companies who make adult, consensual productions—grown-ups with contracts!

But those 8 justices weren't all that stupid, and they knew what happens in obscenity trials when you go after the 1st Amendment. They could paper the White House with case history.
