(Disclosure, I'm a Christian) Thanks for any responses. I would like to ask if you were ever involved in any type of faith, religion etc., before making the decision to become an atheist. The other question I have is what led you to that decision, was it a purley intellectual choice based on historical research, science, Christians & attitudes, other?
I would also be interested in hearing about any pressures you may have experienced from family, friends, co-workers etc about your decision to become an atheist. Do you ever feel the need to explain your personal choice to others when confronted by someone who has a strong view on religious matters?

Thanks, I am just curious. Ever since I was 3 years old I can't stop asking "WHY" about everything...I can't stop the need to want to know. Thanks for sharing your heart & feeling with me, and helping people understand people!!

It has always struck me strange that my husband was with petite, small framed, short women his entire life until he met me. He's a large, tall guy, 6'4 and 240. It's great now that we're married and have kids, but it always makes me wonder in the back of my mind why he preferred that type for so many years and then dated and married me, a tall woman. Any thoughts on this? Does anyone out there think we all have "types" but maybe don't admit it? I always wonder if he'd rather be with a tiny woman like he was before even though we have a great life.

Panasonic Upconvert DVD player
DISH Network HD Reciever
LG Surround Sound system LH-E9674

My question is can I wire everything to play through my surround system that I have or do I need to get a reciever such as the Panasonic SA-XR55S. I just got the HD TV and the upconvert DVD last weekend and I don't really want to spend any more but I want everything to run through the surround speakers.

Christians say that god made adam and put him on earth. Would god not have a method to his madness for lack of a better word?Like evolution? Why can't evolution be a mechanism of god? And also why can't they accept that we have a (common ancestor) with chimpanzee's and baboons. Also they deny the fact that our genes are 98-99 percent the same as these primates. We have seen them but yet they don't accept it. Why?


P.s even though evolution is called a theory by many it's a fact that used to be a theory.

Hello everyone, I have a '97 Camry V4 2.2 (love the gas mileage, :) ). Last week when starting it, I would turn the key, get one click, and then nothing (no turning of the motor). Now this doesn't happen every time I go to start it, it may be in the morning or could be in the afternoon, both, or neither. I may have to try two or three times to start it, turn key, click, nothing, turn key, click, nothing, turn key, no click, engine turns over and starts. The battery was bought 4 or 5 months ago. I removed the starter and took it to Autozone to be tested, Starter passed test, three times (test included checking solenoid). Now I do not know how well this little test works and wether it could find a small problem with the starter. I also checked and sanded the battery terminals and cable connections to make sure I had a good connection. So what am I missing? I'm still thinking it's the starter, do any of you have and idea? Thanks!!!
