I went to the dentist yesterday to get set up for a crown, however, could not get anything done because the anesthetics did not work... he gave me 2 blocks, 5-6 shots in the area, and even drilled into the bone and placed some there... my entire right side of my mouth got numb, however, i could still feel every move he made with the drill on the tooth. I was just wondering what could have caused that? I am not a heavy caffeine drinker, I am not anxious about the dentist... I never have had problems in the past,... the only thing different about yesterday was that I was feeling under the weather with a sore throat and sinus issues... could that have any effect on it????

I am an intern and at work I am supposed to check emails everyday and since the time I started a couple of months ago, it was mostly just spam that I had to delete and forward some emails but recently there was an email with offers for bidding for projects and one of them was a major project worth a whole lot of money and its a prestigious project.

I hadn't realised this email was even received and somehow it was marked as read when I checked it all again today and I missed the deadlines and the presentation for this project and my immediate supervisor noticed the mistake. I'm not sure if it will be reported to the boss and I don't know what I should do.

I am also worried abt the worst thing that can happen. I'm really unsure what I should do - to own up or not- and I have only a couple more months left at this internship. Since I will be graded for school based on my performance here, I'm afraid the internship will be terminated and I will automatically get an F.

There is a car dealership here that advertises that "if I dont sell you a car, I will give you a thousand dollar". Is this false advertisement? I dont know. I can go there with bad credit, no money, and 3 or four times a month and make 3 or 4000 Dollar!!!!! Off course there are fine prints, but they dont say it on TV advertisement.

Read this and tell me if you would persecute me for it (act against me-violence, threats,slander.mockery).:

1: I approve of segregation from humanists, unbelieving, and the pagans, in every aspect of life, from separation in the streets to shunning intercourse with such peoples.For example I will not court a humanist women or engage in idle chit chat on the streets.
2: I have faith in salvation of the faithful and believing only through faith in Jesus and from God's grace. The world and woldy people will not save me let alone they cannot save themselves without faith and divine assitance.
3: I encourage the complete separation from such peoples- I will walk away from these peoples, I will not talk to them or spend anymore time then they deserve.
4: I will only act against you only if you act against me, I will only target pagans, to save them, all the rest will be left in a world of bodies.

I am 20yo, but I have always been "mature for my age", or so people say. Several of my closest friends are more than 2 decades older than me, but I don't feel the age gap at all.

One such friend is a 45yo former teacher who has always been a great mentor and role model. We see each other twice or thrice a year, and email regulary (around twice a week).

Now, I've always had a huge crush on him, but I've never told him simply because I know it's inappropriate. On several occasions, he has told me that he "likes" me a lot, but that he respects me enough to keep distance.

Lately, he has been asking me to tell him how I really feel about him. Should I tell him I like him a lot, even though I have no intentions of being more than friends with him? Or should I leave things as they are and keep on pretending that I don't feel anything special for him?

His question is simply borne out of curiosity, and I'm sure he also has no intentions of taking anything to the next level.
