Well first of all both systems are great in their own ways, and i have both. My thoughts are you should get a 360 because it has less glitches and a longer warranty just in case anything goes wrong. 360 also has more games to choose from ans Halo 3 going to come out this year. Even though the ps3 has better graphics and is cool for movies, with free online play. It sometimes freezes because of the intense graphics and it looks bad on a regular tv. It also costs alot more

(dont listen to the last guy "free xbox..blah"...he has been getting his last week for months....)
Anyways go for the xbox360. I have heard that in about a month or less they are going to drop price and make it where you get a game with the system... As for the PS3 its dead...I used to be a Sony fan but the PS3 killed them bad. Blu-ray while good is pointless. Almost no blu-ray movies and the fact not many people even have a HD tv yet makes it even more...
Plus Xbox360 is getting all the PS exclusives(excuse spelling)
Xbox360 also has a lot more games coming

get a 360, you have acheivements, great online play, new arcade games every tuesday, you can get a hd-dvd player if your worried about the blu-ray any way blu-ray doesn't even have that many movies out yet. if you want the truth look at the facts, ps3 is about to drop prices after a few months, nobody is buying it, 360 is still the price after a year and a half, and in europe ps3 took backwards compatibility out of the new ps3, how long before they take it out of the ps3s in america
and to this guy who says there are no good games, what about gears of war, crackdown, g.r.a.w., medal of honor, a better guitar hero with more songs and downloads, yes halo like he said, and plenty more i dont have time to play all the games i have for 360

I would do some research, 360 has more games but the elite looks hot byut may not be what you want. I included a link I found on the net that is an online inventory tracker for the elite.

PS3. The graphics are better, you can play blu-ray, the only good games for x-box are halo, and you don't absolutely require a hi-def tv, as you do with the x-box 360.
