youth seeing evil - the children experience the evils of a society that does not recognise that all people are created equal, that some people hate others just because of the colour of their skin or because they feel socially inferior eg the character of Bob Ewell.
This also alludes to the hypocrisy in that people may say one thing but actuakky believe another ie, they say that Tom Robinson deserves a fair trial but know that this could never happen. eg Sherrif Tate or the judge
The injustice is that there is and always will be inequalities in society despite the law being designed so as to presume someone innocent till proven guilty. Tom is already judged as guilty by the all white male jury because that is how society expects him to be judged. Atticus knows this but feels it is important that he tries to redress this injustice. The honour is in trying to do the right thing even when you know that you won't win.

If you don't know then you didn't read the book. If you did then read it again.
The kids saw evil when they saw the truth of the society they lived in. They saw that just because Tom Robinson was black that he couldn't win court, even tho the case was airtight. The injustice in the adult society was the hypocrisy and racism floating in the town. In one section of the book a school teacher talks about how Hitler is evil yet feels that being racist against African Americans. Also religious hypocrisy was in the novel. When California brang Scout and Jem to her church, one of the members is offended about them going because they are white and Calpurnia's church is a all black church. The one member thought that Scout and Jem shouldn't be able to go because she couldn't go to the white church. That is just a few of the examples. Reread the book.

Read it. It is one of those life changing books, rare, simple and beautiful. I promise, if you are in the majority, you'll want to read it again. Don't forget to watch the very moving, old black and white movie version of it with Gregory Peck.
