I am a prior service Marine and Army Reserve arabic linguist going back to active duty as Navy CTI(arabic) and i want to know where the choices of assignment are.

Serious answers please.

at the NIOCS in Ft Meade, Ft Gordon or possibly San Diego/Hawai'i.

also possible are DIRSUP orders out of eitjher Coast.

Seriously I do not know. But I would presume probably to an Arab nation where your most needed. Maybe ask a recruiter, or check out, http://www.military.com

I'd put my money on the country U.A.E. (united arab emirates) dubai is the name of the city. I've been there and met many american sailors. You will party your *** off. Its like a melting pot there. They have a bar that represents almost every country there.

Usually some place like China or Japan. With typical military efficiency and logic, you will end up nowhere near where your skill is needed.

They get stationed in Alaska. Duh !! Why send arabic translators to arabic speaking countries? That would be just silly. Almost as silly as this question.
