Repost as I botched first question, sorry:

1990 Olds, Temp gauge reads 1/4 of scale, with 1/2 way being about normal. I changed Thermostat with new one.
Plenty of heat so that is working. So I changed Temp. Sensor on engine block (2-wire electrical clip) on top. Made no difference...

as the engine heats up the gauge rises to just above 1/4 of mark on gauge and stops, then as the Thermostat opens, the needle on guage will drop to 1/4 scale mark.

I will run a new gauge, line etc.. if I can't figure this out but hoping something simple... as for changing gauge from one from junk yard, ... I can take a look behind dash and see what that would take, not the most friendly environment up in there.

Oh.. this Mini-van has 256,700 miles, never had engine cracked open and one solenoid on tranny changed... so it has been a keeper with just routine maint.. Just about on last leg but will runner till she drops...

I'm going to try this one more time. Please read this before answering, I know it's long, but this is round 2 and I'm trying to weed things out before they're posted.
She's an 8-week old female, cream colored (note: NOT gold) Golden Retriever. She will be a working dog (search and rescue), so I need a name that I can call out a lot without sounding silly.
She is very smart, friendly and has a bit of an alpha personality. She has already charmed my Aussie, who doesn't like any other dogs, and they play constantly.
I am looking for something fairly short and out of the ordinary. I DO NOT want to use regular human names.
I have a few on my working list, but would be willing to entertain other ideas, so let me know if you like one of these, or if you have a better idea.

My guy works really odd hours they are the total opposite of mine but even at that he never calls me I always have to call him. He has a lot of friends and on his days off has to pick who he is going to see. I dont know if I should just waite it out or if tell him we should just be friends. I feel a lot of the times that our relationship is put on the back burner. I really like him a lot and care for him deeply but I don't know what to do.

ok, I like this guy at my school and. I wan t him so so bad. i like him a lot. abut the only problem is that he has said no to me 2 times. but the only reason he said no twice is because all my friends kept asking him over and over again and it got him very mad so he said no. and the same reason for the second time. My tutorial sheet says P = 0.082. I say it's more like 0.91792, or 1 minus the sheet's answer.

For clarity, the wording is "What is the probability that the virus will be eradicated with 5 applications of the antiviral software", just to confirm I haven't misread.

I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4X4. My rims are 14 inches and I would like to put larger tires on my truck. What are the best tires I can buy? I use it mostly for street but sometimes find myself in the snow or mud. In addition, I currently get around 19 miles per gallon. How will these larger tires effect my gas mileage?
