I'm going to try this one more time. Please read this before answering, I know it's long, but this is round 2 and I'm trying to weed things out before they're posted.
She's an 8-week old female, cream colored (note: NOT gold) Golden Retriever. She will be a working dog (search and rescue), so I need a name that I can call out a lot without sounding silly.
She is very smart, friendly and has a bit of an alpha personality. She has already charmed my Aussie, who doesn't like any other dogs, and they play constantly.
I am looking for something fairly short and out of the ordinary. I DO NOT want to use regular human names.
I have a few on my working list, but would be willing to entertain other ideas, so let me know if you like one of these, or if you have a better idea.
Aura
Auri
Echo
Rumor
Siri
Sinjin
Saqi

And PLEASE don't send me links to naming sites. I have spent hours on those

Hi, have named many dogs in my life. I also try to keep it short. I had heard one syllable is best.(And with search and rescue, you do not want a long name I am sure.) Sometimes I have named a dog for a town in the area that seemed to fit (for whatever reason.) The last dog I had I also could not come up with a name I liked. I was outside with the dog, and he just "yelled to me" "Call me Jack." Silly as it may seem, it worked. I had him for 15 years. So just think about it, listen to you dog. Maybe he/she will tell you a name they want to be called. Good luck.

I constantly get to renowned my domestic dog for some days mutually as I evaluate names. you may in simple terms call him "domestic dog" for now. confirm you get him regarded at on the vet, doggies constantly have worms. ask your self what variety of names you like? Do you like people names for canines or do you desire something thoroughly diverse? character additionally comes into it and colour- Honey, Sooty etc. in my view, i think of names suitable to colour are actually not unique. Is he a mad mutt or a large softie? I additionally discover it should be a attractiveness you may yell fortunately-"Fido come!" i like names with 2 syllables. Tansy, Jester, Dilly have all been names my canines have had. I truly have a chum who calls her canines after issues in nature-Willow, Ash. yet another who referred to as her dogs after a wind. supply it some concept and you`ll discover something unique, like this damaging dogs you have rescued. If all else fails you need to call him after the situation you stumbled on him.
