He is always there for me. I know he loves me but as we grow older the sex gets less and less and I seem to want it more and more. Wondering if maybe I am loosing my looks or is it something else. Don't think he is cheating. I usually know where he is and I really can't picture a man like him cheating. Please no mean comments. I am ready to cry already.

Why do people say all the time that this town or that town doesn't deserve to have a hockey team. Who says. I wasn't aware that we had to ask for the nations permission. I am just sick and tired of people saying that. If I am a fan of the NSH, CBJ, or who ever, so what. The businesses may not be helping out as much as they should, but these so called small towns that don't deserve a team has a huge fan base. The fans buy tickets, not all businesses. I don't want to hear how they should be sold out, when all I see in Detroit are empty seats that businesses have purchased and there employees, clients, etc. don't even have the curtousy to show up. If I were a business and I saw that my tickets weren't being used, I would stop that real quick. I will put my money to better use. So if any town wants to have a hockey team, GO FOR IT! It just ticks me off.

These questions are from my homeschooling. I'm very confused about these questions, so it would be very helpful if you could explain each one a little.

A) The maximum number of electrons that can be held in the valence shell of beryllium is 8. Would beryllium be more likely to lose or gain electrons in a chemical reaction?

B) If beryllium formed an ion, what would be it's chemical formula?

C) With which of the following elements would beryllium most likely form an ionic bond?

Na
Ca
Fe
Br

I think question C would be Ca.

I would just ask my teacher to explain this stuff to me, but I don't have one.

Thanks for all the answers to my yakuza questions, but I have another one. What if you have a girlfriend who has a yakuza dad or something and you break up with her, will this anger someone of "higher power" and put me in a bad situation or do the yakuza not work like that? Or, what if I marry a woman who is related to a yakuza member? Yes, you people are probably going to yell at me for being afraid of them, but I was just wondering. Jeez...

Who else is disgusted with the idea of calling firefighters and (especially)cops heroes for doing their job? Its not like they knew it was a terrorist attack. How come the paramedics dont get credit? The real heroes are the patriots and brave men and women in the armed forces. Cops suck. I never once supported cops maybe firefighters i could realize how you would want to memorialize the dead one for firefighters even though heroes is a bit much... as for cops i would kill them again myself

I was trying to populate my summer and fall schedule as best I can before my registration date comes up and I was browsing through RateMyProfessor.com to scope out some of the unfamiliar names. It led me to wonder how many other people use it and actually rely on it for a vaguely accurate mental picture of what to expect.

For those who do use it: am I the only one who reads the frowny-face comments which mostly say, "This professor gave waaay too much work! He didn't seem to understand we're taking other classes besides his!" and say to yourself, "Yeah, right. You're a slacker and you're just angry because you couldn't slack in this guy's class."?

I commend her for her UN work and adopting underprivileged children. But isn't it a tad bit... overboard for her to actually consider "adopting another asian child for mad" or "an african kid for z". I mean, go ahead and adopt another kid, I'm all for adoption, but for those reasons... euch. I thought she was all about being multiracial, but trying to "balance out the races" is kinda segregating them.
Ok, so I do KINDA understand where she's coming from. The problem is, does she herself understand what she is doing? She says that she will raise her children according to each of their cultures, and if she is indeed doing that, then "balancing out the races" is indeed the wrong idea. Being Asian doesn't make people the same.

Has she forgotten that however it may be now, racial tension has existed in the past, and that could very well be what and un-homegrown child chooses to identify with? God forbid she adopt Chinese kid AND Japanese kid (though that probably won't happen anyway).

I hate to say it but in today's world you never know where a woman has been and who she has been with. Fortunately, we have modern technology that can test women to see if they have any diseases that men might need to be aware of before they marry. Not only so, but it is a good idea to see if she will be able to bear children as well. Not saying that a man shouldn't marry her but it is a good thing to know beforehand to see if he can afford a concubine or second wife that will be able to bear children. Don't get me wrong, not all diseases are "deal breakers" in a marriage but some really have to make you think. I think you all know what I am talking about. What do you all think? Good idea?

Several years ago I was traveling by bus. While stopped at a depot, a young man that looked to be in his 20's boarded the bus and sat in the back by himself. A young woman on board approached him and struck up a conversation with him. She was laughing and giggling and acting really weird. At the next stop, this young man followed the bus driver into the restroom and told the driver that this woman on board had dope, showed it to him and had offered him some which he declined.
Afterwards the bus continued down a highway and was stopped by the police who secured the bus. The police entered the bus, approached the woman, confiscated the drugs and hauled her off in handcuffs. This young man was visibly shaken and in tears. I asked him if he would like to sit by me and he did. He told me he was on his way to his brother's funeral, his brother had died from a drug overdose. I held his hand as he said he hoped he did the right thing in reporting this woman. I told him he did the right thing

I am recently engaged, and I have split custody of my 7 year old son from a previous marriage. The issue of his last name came up. What usually happens to a child's last name when the mother remarries? My fiance will not be adopting him or assuming any custody, the custody will remain split (50/50) with my son's father and I. I will be changing my last name to my fiance's.
