wow great question. I did a whole big report on the American Revolution and I have an answer. They were cousins and both were founding fathers of America. Both were in buisness and were in the Sons of LIberty. THey fought the British as Patriots and wanted to separate from England. At times they were often referred to as brothers but really they were cousins.

They were second cousins.

Samuel Adams was a leader of the founding fathers. For example, he was the architect of the Boston Tea Party.

John and Samuel worked together to draft the Massachusetts Constitution.
