Think before they procreate? Do they think about the sufferings and injustices prevalent in this world? Do they consider the many difficulties the child might have to face in the future? Or do they simply go "lets have children" like automatons? I simply wonder...

I often wonder that about the ones that have kids in 3rd world countries. Why on earth do they, when they know the poor child is going to live a life of misery? Do they know about contraception and have access to it? Maybe not, but they should.

Yeah, I thought about that. I seriously don't think it is responsible for most people to have children. I think people who have no means to take care of children, also they don't care & want to sacrifice what a parent does to have children, yeah, you shouldn't have children. Then I look at who is procreating the most - uneducated people with poor parents - and I don't mean poor in money - I mean horrible parents - but they're also poor & can't afford to take care of their children - and I think, why should I feel guilty for having 3 children for whom I take very good care? My husband & I are great parents, we have a stable home, and we can afford to take care of our children & raise them to be quite environmentally concscious - well, why punish us?
So there's another side of the coin.

i would say most people carefully consider their decision to have children, yes their is suffering and injustice but there is also love and hope
