After all they didn't pollute the place, we did. To make Amishland fit for a King, I suggest waterless toilet tanks with forced air venting and 50,000 gallon tanks. I also suggest bank-teller type tube delivery systems connecting each household and central delivery points within the compound. They already have an efficient and mostly pollution free transportation system. At least it's all natural.

I saw this question asked and it was resolved before I had a chance to put in my 2 cents. My opinion is, I'll watch college ball all day before I spend a minute watching NBA ball. There are a number of reasons that I like NCAA ball better than NBA ball, but it really boils down to one thing for me: in the NCAA, far more often than not, if one team outplays the other, that team will win. On rare occasions there is some obviously biased officiating, and in those cases you sometimes get an NBA-style result, where a team gets thouroughly outplayed but wins because they shoot a lot of free throws. In contrast, every NBA game has poor officiating, and it's not because the refs are biased, but rather that the league wants it that way: the superstars must be allowed to play their game without interference. Everyone in the league is playing the same game, so why do we hear "Oh, a rookie can't expect to get that call against a superstar". Why not? Aren't they playing the same game?

My almost 12 year old daughter has recently been begging me for a Chihuahua puppy! I am not sure if I should get her one as I doubt her resonsibility. She is getting C's in most of her classes, doesn't do her chores, is very picky but has promised me that she will look after her.

I asked her why she wants a Chihuahua, her response; "because they are cute and small".

She thinks she knows all there is to know about dogs but doesn't even know how to spell VETERINARIAN.

I am not sure what to do. She has said that she will "mature" when she gets the dog and she will train her and make the dog be the best dog in world...

I am lost at what to do. Does anybody else have any experience with their young daughter asking for a puppy? I know that Kelly won't want to get up at 2am to take her out to potty or to give up her social life with friends for a puppy.

I am 14 years old and weigh almost 240 pounds. I was really tiny when I was younger but I have started gaining a lot of weight over the past few years. I want this more than anything, but I just can't get motivated to exercise. I usually drink 4-6 cans of Mountain Dew per day, and eat constantly. As of 2 weeks ago though, I haven't had any soda, but I'm still eating McDonald's and Pizza almost everyday. Everyone in my family is stick-thin and can eat anything they want. I am despret to be healthy. I am at high risk for diabetes and heart problems and my life may be on the line. If anybody with experience knows how I can lose weight healthily, I would appreciate it more than you could ever imagine.

ok i found a crib by simplicity at walmart on a "rollback" price i really like.. and when it converts to a toddler bed has guard rails included and even a remote control activated mobile.. which i found interesting thing is i have to order it online and the bed is on sale for 120 bucks and im afraid that cheap wont be withstanding quality into the other beds i was looking at .. what do you all think? any moms use simplicity and find the wood not to crappy?
