My friend found a stray cat and is planning on feeding it some of the recalled pet food so he could file a lawsuit and hopefully get money out of it. He is completely serious. I've already begged and pleaded with him not to because that's horrible!

Is there anything I can do to prevent him other than trying to convince him not to? Can I call some sort of animal control? Can they do anything if it hasn't happened yet and he just denies it? HELP PLEASE!

someone said i can stop the 'checking nvram' step when switching my comp on, on the first screen, by going to BIOS..but where do i change it in BIOS? someone give me the steps. cos bios has no 'turn off memory test' option!

We were able to get my daughter a special Korean Doll for her first birthday (she is part Korean) and we would like to name her doll something that means BIRTHDAY or first, or special. Can someone plese let me know how to say these things in Korean?

This is my basic schedule for the trip. If anyone has any suggestions of other places to visit nearby I would really appreciate it.

Belgium: Tour of Brussels. Tour of Bruges (visit Waterloo and the Lion Mound) (we have a free evening in Bruges...any suggestions?)

France: travel through Reims to Paris. Tour of Paris (stops at The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Louvre and then on to Versailles) (we do have a free morning in Paris, any suggestions of marketplaces or other places to explore?)
Switzerland: Walking tour of Geneva and then down to Lausanne. Visit the Chateau de Chillon and then onto Gruyeres.

Any suggestions would be helpful, if not about places to visit then general suggestions for travel in Europe. I’ve never been there before so is there anything I should know? Thanks!

Just my little celebratory tribute to a man who has spanned the music spectrum for over 35 years and has given so much of his musical self to so many. I guess all Us Americans could put our red noses on and join you in an Elton Britain/American Birthday Bash. I think Sir Elton would find that refreshingly silly.

I wrote this note to him because it seems like we're heading too deep into something that could lead to disaster. I live near the simpson desert in Australia and I am being sent to America for a year. My biggest fear is snow. I have never seen it and don't know what to do if I come across it.
It may sounds like a stupid question but know silly than you asking how to live in the desert.
Any advice?
Is it as cold as they say down at the pub?
Will I freeze to death if I don't do something right?

I was just wondering how you go about this. I want to make sure my car seat is properly installed for my little one. I know the fire department checks this out for you so what I was wondering is do I have to wait for a specific event where they do this or can I just bring my car down for inspection?
I know I should probably just call, but I thought I would ask first. I feel silly bothering the fire department if you know what I mean.

I have a desktop connected via an ethernet cable to a wireless router. I would like to network the desktop with two notebook computers that access the internet via the wireless router. The main uses will be file sharing between the computers and the ability to print from one of the notebooks to a printer connected to the desktop. I have used the windows networking wizard, but can't seem to make a connection between the computers.
