After a recent surgery, my doctor told me this occured during surgery, what does that mean? She said a pocket of gas got between some level of skin and traveled up through my chest. How serious was this?

My impression is that this bizarre phenomenon is entirely attributable to partisanship -- the tendency to buy every single article of faith put forward by a particular party unquestioningly, if you buy one.

Note: A little reasoned argument, versus name-calling, will be viewed as refreshing.

Is it INCEST? Sylvia Brown says that every one who is in your life now has always been in your life in one way or another. So if a father sleeps with his daughter, could he use this logic of hers as a defense in court? Found a fake £1 coin with the rest of mine when I Was looking at all the designs. Its a scottish rampant lion one with 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN' stamped poorly and off centered round the side (the wrong writing as well should say 'NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT'). Its heavier and also the head side is stamped on off center. What do I do with it?

Okay, Im fourteen, and I've been talking to a guy a lot lately, and he just recently asked me out... and we aren't going out yet, but I do like him a lot... anyway, I have something similar to tourettes. When I was little, i would sort of hum at the end of sentences or when everything was quiet. The doctors tested for it, and they said I was normal, and that it was a nervous habit that I would grow out of... and I have grown out of it. But all my friends to this day believe I have tourettes. And now my "boyfriend" found out, and he says it doesn't bother him, but it has to, right? I mean, no fifteen year old boy would truly want to go out with a girl with tourettes... i mean, its not extreme enough for anyone to notice it. Its pretty much gone... and its extremely hard to talk to him about it. I dont like to talk to anyone about it, and I never have. Its the only thing i've kept completely to myself... i dont even know what my question is. Any advice at all would be great... thanks.

Hi! I'm 19 years old, I have 3 siblings (Ages 5,6 and 7!!).. they are pickey eaters in a way - and in another way, they are not.

For example, my brother (the 7 year old) LOVES vegetables! This little boy eats EVERY vegetable that you can think of (Even brussel sprouts). But, he wont eat any combination of vegetables IN something (if you mix vegetables with rice/pasta..he wants nothing to do with it)..he also enjoys all fruits

Or, my youngest brother (5) really dislikes most vegetables. this little boy lives off of grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, corn, macaronie and cheese, and plain noodles (He wont even touch tomato sauce)... but he DOES love fruit

My sister is a very STRANGE (rather than pickey) eater. She might LOVE chiken nuggets...beccuase all three kids love them - we make them for dinner sometimes - ... Mikayla (my sister) will refuse to eat them. (I tell her that i'm going to save it for later if shes hungry, but MOM usually gives in and lets her have bad snacks!!!

I'm a nursing mother and I have a dime size dry looking reddish spot on my areola below my nipple. The spot itself is not painful, but my entire breast is itchy. I was put on cream (Clotrimazole) by my doctor on Monday and was told to put it on 2x a day and I have. This morning the itching is unbearable. He didn't say what he thought it was. Any ideas, please help! The spot has been there for almost 2 weeks now. My son has been checked for thrush and there was nothing in his mouth. I have also tried Acidophilius supplements. This is getting quite uncomfortable and a bit embarrassing.
