my cat eats diet cat food but she gains weight. but my dog esats it half the time and i dont no if the cat or the dog eats it so i put in more. but my dog probly doesnt no which food is hers because she is blind, deaf, cancer 4 6 years, arthritis and other problems. Also i need help with a good way to get my dad to put down the dog because she is 15 and is obvioulsy not happy but i hate her so my dad think i just want her gone but she is unhappy friends and family all say its time but my dad says she is still happy, yeah when he is home, but he is at work all day, when she goes out every 5 minutes think (i need 2 go out) ( i was just out. bark) 5 minutes later ( i need to go out ) (i was just out. bark) and she cant get up the stairs so i have to help her up every 5 minutes because she is a retarded dog. so i need help with the cat food problem, the telling the dad thing and if question 2 fails, assaination of my dog. I will resort to that if she is still here in 2 years. thank you...

I can't take anything with a decongestant in it. I've had allergies, sinus infection, and a cough for almost a month. Doctor gave me antibiotics for the sinus infection, but the cough will not stop. I've tried Delsym, supposedly the best on the market, and it hasn't worked. Anyone have any ideas?

Considering the recent "Back to Sleep" campaign, I am wondering how many parents out there still let their babies sleep on their tummies?

My first son only slept on his back. I made sure I followed the "rules" as a first time mom. We had alot of trouble with him flailing his arms about, and he hated to be swaddled. He always woke up very easily. Now with my second, I experimented with letting him sleep on his tummy for a nap... and he slept so soundly for a good stretch of time. And I watched him like a hawk. He did so well that now it is his preferred position to sleep in. Now that he is rolling over, he accidentally rolls onto his back at night and it wakes him up.

Ok so sometimes I feel guilty because tummy sleeping is frowned upon, but he is doing so well...
I know all about the SIDS statistics, so please don't preach them to me... I just want to know if there are other parents who let their babies tummy sleep as well.

Hi, I'm turning 14 in a month and I really want it to be stress free for my Mom because she's really busy.. And I'm wondering is there a really easy birthday party that would be really fun and inexpensive? I don't want a hollywood party, please, I did that last year but something really fun and nothing to do with dancing... Something relaxing. I'd probably only invite 6 of my friends so nothing like a big huge affair..

Seriously, as much as it was tempting, I didn't ask this question purely to offend the fundies.

Take this scenario. You are a good, Christian parent, and you are ultimately worried that your children, whatever you teach them, may be corrupted by the Devil. If you let them live and make their own choices, there is always a chance that they will stray from the path of righteousness. No good parent would want any chance that their children would spend eternity in Hell, suffering torture.

Thus, the only way to be a good Christian parent is to murder your kids before they have a chance (maybe straight from the womb for A+ soul efficiency) to sin. You will be a true matyr - sacrificing yourself to hell for the eternal pleasure of your kids - and won't have to go through the pesky trouble of raising them!

Hey, who knows, you may not even go to Hell yourself! That other guy who was gonna knock off his kid - Abraham? - got a free ticket to heaven for that!

ever since i was 10, (i'm 13 now) i've constantly been working toward losing weight. i would constantly weight myself, keeping track of how much i lost, or how much i gained. if i gained, i would cut back on my eating a little bit, and exercising as much as i could. toward the end of 5th grade this slowed down a little bit...and i finally realized in the summer before 7th that i had gained more weight than i shouldve. i couldnt handle it. i constantlycompared myself to other girls my age, and i needed to lose weight. by this time i was 110 pounds, 13 years old. i confided slowly in some close friends, about wanting to lose weight and they shrugged off my comments...telling me i was one of the most beautiful girls they knew..and i was a perfect size...big boobs, flat stomach. right. sometimes the person i see in the mirror almost makes me sick. so about a month ago i started throwing up after desserts at dinner, about once a week when i felt i needed it. do i have an eating disorder?

I'm not the best looking guy in the world and I am very aware of it. Im not fat, but I just don't have good looks. When I go to party's and such, women will avoid me like the plague, but as soon as they find out I have a degree in engineering and am currently working on my masters degree, they flock to me like segals. Do they not realize they are making their golddigger status extremely obvious.
