I had really bad hot flash, two actually. I got really hot, and really sweaty, but it was a dry sweat. Then my eyes kinda- not blanked-exactly, but I couldn't see, it wasn't blurry, there was just no vision, but not all the way, I could see a little bit. I got sick twice, and fell asleep for about 45 minutes. I am completely fine. I mainly wanna know what causes heat flashes like that. I thought it was when your blood pressure spikes really fast, but I don't know. My heart was beating really fast too. I just want to know what could've been wrong. I am completely fine now, I never took any medicine or anything, I just slept a bit, and I'm all good now.

My Girlfriend will be having an operation soon (Hernia) where she won't be able to walk for awhile. How is she going to get pain medication (or any medication) filled at the pharmacy if she obviously can't drive there (or walk) to get it?

How do we do this?

I had my period the 5th through the 10th. When I am whipping after peeing, I am noticing a brown color on the tolit paper. What could this be? Should I call my doctor? I figured it is just something that happens after a period, but this is the first time it's happened with me. It doesn't really smell or anything, but what should I do and what could it be? Could it be related to being pregnant or ovulating?

I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Many women who have this also have Diabetes or are Insulin Resistant. One of the many tests used to diagnose PCOS is to test whether or not we are diabetic or insulin resistant. My blood glucose level was 75. One doctor told me it was in the normal range (which is still possible for having PCOS, not all women with it have diabetes or IR). Another told me I was IR. An acquaintance I know who does medical transcriptioning said I was IR form what she's read while transcribing. Can you tell me which is true?
